Chapter Thirty Three: Hope, Love, Glory and A Happy Ending

Colette's Point Of View

I threw the last of my clothes into my trunk and flipped the lid over, expecting it to click shut and sighing loudly in frustration when it didn't. Alex laughed loudly at me as she waddled across the dorms, jumping onto the case along with me in an attempt to shut it. It slowly budged and I managed to flick the lock down. We high fived each other before jumping off my trunk and onto the floor. Alex tottered off to her packing when I sighed, "Do you think this summer is gonna be good?"

"Course it is!" She laughed, "You could come over sometime if you want."

"Yeah sure." I shrugged,

"Or we could just invade Fred and George's house. I'm sure Mrs Weasley wouldn't mind." Alex said and pulled a thoughtful face,

"Sure thing." I laughed as Alex nodded with a smirk and closed her trunk. We both dragged our cases from our beds and I followed Alex down to the common room where we threw our luggage and laughed our way down to breakfast. We walked into the Great Hall greeted with five smiles and waves. I waved back as I sat between George and Harry,

"S'up?" Harry asked,

"Nothing muuuuch." Alex laughed and squeezed herself between Fred and Ron,

"You both seem pretty happy." George smiled at me as I grabbed some toast,

"It's almost summer," I started, took a bite and put my hand up to my mouth whilst I mumbled, "It's gonna be totally awesome."

"You guys are so coming to our house." Fred said and smiled, looking at the table and raising his eyebrows as he nodded,

"Good, we kind of invited ourselves a few minutes ago." Alex laughed and Fred gaped a little, shaking his head and lightly hitting her shoulder with his palm,

"When's the train leave?" I whined as I leaned against George,

"Eleven." He answered, "We leave here 'bout half past."

"Time." I said and look at Alex,

"Ten dot nought nine." She replied casually,

"Ten oh nine a.m." I repeated. Alex laughed and then carried on chomping on her morning apple. We were eating for a little past half past, but we were leaving the entrance hall around 10.34. Which wasn't too bad. George and I were walking quite a bit behind Fred who was joking around and Alex who was laughing loudly. George nudged me with his shoulder and I looked up at him. He nodded towards the forest and I caught what he'd seen, "Oh my god, Padfoot." I said quickly and all in one breath. He came up to George and I, rubbing against my leg. I laughed and he sat down in front of me. George grabbed my other hand and I shook my head,

"You sure?" He asked and I laughed,

"Oh please." I laughed and looked back to Padfoot, "OH LETTER!" I laughed and took it from him. The name on the front was a messy 'Colette' with slightly loopy handwriting. I laughed and pushed the envelope into my pocket, petting Padfoot lightly on the head before he barked and raced off into the forest. I laughed and kept my grasp on George's hand as did he as we walked further away from Hogwarts. We only just made it to the carriages and the train in time and it was scary how little time we had to jump on before it began to leave. Fred, George, Alex and I all stuck our heads out of the window like Harry, Ron and Hermiome had in the compartment next to us and we were all waving to Hagrid. We kept waving until he along with Hogsmeade slowly disappeared into the distance and we pulled our heads back into the train, George helping me down and Fred helped Alex. We all flopped down onto the seats and Alex and I put our feet on the lap of the twin next to us. They both gaped at us and we laughed,
