Chapter Eighteen: That's What Friends Are For
Colette's Point Of View
One week after the Hogsmeade trip now, and I haven't spoke to George and George still won't talk to me. But you know that small smile you get that says 'Hey! I know you hate me for what happened but I'm your friend still but you're apologising to me, not the other way around.'? Well I got one of them in Potions yesterday. It made me feel kind of warmer, not only because my feet were freezing and Snape decided to leave the door open and give me a draft around my legs for Christmas, but that he still wants to be my friend. He might be a complete and utter tosser, but at least it's progress, "Colette?" Called Lupin from the front of the class. I looked up from my notebook, casually made an attempt to cover my drawings and nodded once, "What you doing?" He asked me,
"N-nothing." I said, closing my book slowly. Lupin nodded before giving me a look and went back to teaching. I sighed and Fred slid a piece of paper in front of me. I looked at him and he nodded towards it. I picked the note up and put it in my lap, opening it carefully,
'Stop thinking about it'
I frowned and scrawled back 'About what' and gave him it. He gave a loud tut causing Lupin to flash us another curious look. I held my hands up in defence and Lupin laughed a little, shaking his head and looking back at the board. Fred put the note in my lap and I opened it,
'The dork sat in front of us.'
I looked up and saw Lee and George doing the same thing as me and Fred. I laughed silently and wrote back,
'Which one?'

Later that night, me and Fred were chilling in front of the fire in the common room, just drinking tea and eating the cookies Mrs Figg had sent me with her owl. I had a silent party that night she sent me the letter she'd brought an owl. I felt really cheeky constantly asking Harry to borrow Hedwig when Mrs Figg wasn't meant to like him, let alone be protecting him, "What'd you get?" Fred asked me,
"Cherry." I said, shoving the last bite of my cookie into his mouth and him nearing biting my finger off,
"My favourite!" He laughed,
"I thought your favourite was blueberry." Came a voice from above us, "Or did you lie to me about that too?" My eyes went a little wide and Fred and I turned around slowly. I for one though I was going to be met with my current nightmare. But, as luck would have it ...
"Angelina?!" I exclaimed and she curled her lip at me. Oh. Wait. That's not that lucky, "Merlin, I thought you were George." I said, turning back around and hearing Fred quietly chuckling beside me,
"Well, seeing as you two are having your nice cozy evening together, I'm sure you'll be pleased to know George has been sat almost crying for half an hour in the dungeons, where I happened to have found him, saying he couldn't understand why you'd been a bitch to him." She said, with slight happiness in her voice,
"Oh, and I'm sure you'll be just as pleased to know that just because we're not on speaking terms at the minute, he doesn't full-on hate me and does tell me when he running off into Hogsmeade with Lee." I said, turning back around, flicking my head quickly and clicked my tongue. Angelina stuttered for a few seconds before screaming and running up to the dorm room,
