Chapter Twenty Four: So Many Questions, So Little Answers
Colette's Point Of View
Me and Harry walked into the History of Magic classroom together. I looked around and it was pretty deserted. Harry was pacing around looking a little worried, "Harry, you'll be fine." I said as I threw the lid down on a chest full of papers and sat on top of it, "I mean why am I even here?"
"Don't ask me." He said and stopped pacing. He looked at me and gave me a unconvincing smile,
"Stop worrying." I told him, "When I start worrying, then you can." Harry nodded but started pacing again. I sighed and drummed my fingers on the chest top as we waited for Lupin. It took Lupin around ten minutes to get to us. Harry was pacing and I was drumming when the door burst opened and reveled a very tired looking Lupin lugging another chest behind him. He brought it into the middle of the room and sat it down,
"Well that was difficult." He said and climb on top of a table and sat down, "You ready Harry?"
"Yep." Harry said as he stopped pacing and dug in his pocket for his wand,
"You alright Colette?" Lupin asked,
"Yeah erm call me Lottie, that's cool with me. But erm, Why am I here?"
"You could use the knowledge. It might come in handy if you know how to protect yourself and your friends." Lupin said and started explaining everything to us. That really didn't help me at all and if I'm honest, I don't think any of this ia going to help me. Ever. Let's blame Dumbledore for now. He always has some crazy idea going on. But I suppose they have all worked out ... We'll just have to see.

"Well, I'll see you Harry next week. Colette, do you still with to come?" Lupin asked me after the lesson had finished, maybe a hour and a half after we'd first arrived. We were all drinking butterbeer and just having a general chat. Harry had also been talking about some stuff I didn't really listen to because it didn't really hold relevance to me, so I just kept sipping my butterbeer quietly and trying not to kick the chest whilst I was swinging my legs. I shrugged when Lupin asked me,
"Do you really want me to? I get the idea of it now so I should be ok."
"Well if you feel that way, I won't make you come." Lupin said and looked up from his desk, "I'm proud of you for turning up."
"I said I would." I defended, "You make me sound like a bad person." Lupin laughed and shook his head,
"You're just like your mother." He said quietly. I looked up at him a little shocked. Harry looked at us both awkwardly before excusing himself from the room,
"You knew my mother?" I asked Lupin as Harry closed the door, generally curious to see where this would go,
"Of course I did." He laughed, "I knew her very well. You're an image of her you know. Especially the eyes." He said,
"Thank you?" I said, it coming out more of a question than a start,
"You're welcome. You're her in every way. Except your hair. And maybe most of your face. You got them from your father. Which maybe doesn't make you an image of your mother but ... oh well."
