Chapter Fifteen- Meeting The People

"Come now sweetheart , we need to address the court" Ben said and offered her his hand .

She took it and they walked down the hall . "Sweetheart ?" She asked .

"You like that one?" He smirked

"You're a slimy, double crossing no good  swindler !" She scolded him .

"Didn't like that one huh sweetheart?"

"Yet you continue to call me that you nerf-herder "

"I think that Sweetheart fits you nicely dear" he said proudly .

"Because it's so original " she said sarcastically.

"Precisely " he smirked. "Why did Poe call you out to speak .. Is everything okay,"

"When your uncle Luke spilt the water on me , the makeup on my neck rubbed off and he saw the marks on me"

"What marks?" He asked .

"The marks you gave me -"

"I didn't hit you or -"

"No ... When you kissed my neck and such ... That's when you made them , Poe saw a couple"

"Oh , I'm sorry dear" he said and then they reached the balcony so they could see the guard .

"Presenting their His Royal Majesty King Benjamin Lucas Kenobi Skywalker Organa Solo and Her Royal Majesty Queen Reyhanne Alessandra Apolla Galatea Cressida Kenobi Skywalker Organa Solo"

Rey and Ben stepped up and the entire crowd bowed at them . "Royal Subjects ... It give me great pleasure to address the royal Court and guard" he said.

The royal court and guard of Naboo and Jakku all came together , they held their swords up high .

"Sweetheart, can you hand me that right there?" He asked pointing to the metal handle .

"Sure" she handed him the metal handle . Ben walked down the stairs and went to the Royal Court Commander .

He light the handle and Rey gasped , he had a lightsaber . It had a deep purple color and he walked to the new court .

"I here by give the my blessing ... To live long and protect the lands of Naboo and Jakku ... To keep them safe and protect my people and the royal family " he said and crossed the lightsaber across their swords , making them sharp and pointed .

He extinguished his lightsaber and walked back up the stairs to Rey . He put the saber back in its case and she stood besides him.

"Rey , come see your people" Ben said and grabbed her hand . They walked again down the stairs to where the people where .

The guards had made a walkway for the royal couple . Rey smiled at her people and began to shake the hands and greet her people , she hugged children and kissed many young children's foreheads . A handful of teenage girls squealed when she hugged them .

She was doing fantastic with their people . She had grabbed a hold of Ben's arm and they walked past the people together , he said hello and greeted them as she but not as kind and with no physical contact.

"Your Royal Majesty Benjamin Lucas Kenobi Skywalker Organa Solo ... It would give me and my family great honor to gift you our daughter , Jessika , as your personal harlot as a wedding gift to both of you" a man said offering his daughter.

Rey looked at Ben then the girl , she was probably 22 or so and had long black hair .

"Good sir " Ben looked at Jessika again and hesitated . "I do ... I do not wish to bring your daughter upon my bed nor my wife's presents ... If needed I can offer her a job in the the palace as one of my wife's maids" he said .
