Years had passed. Alice Kingsleigh is twenty-two now. Helen Kingsleigh, mother of Alice, had been severely ill and unable to take care of the business. This left Alice to take care of it by herself for some time. One evening was off, one dull evening in particular. A lullaby was placed inside of Alice's head as she went to check up on mother.
"One, two,
Death is coming for you.
Three, four,
Hurry up, He's around the bend.
Five, Six,
He broke the front.
Seven, eight,
Run.
Nine, ten,
Your time is up."
"Funny." Alice thought "It didn't even rhyme."
She thought this, however, her heart skipped multiple beats as this lullaby ended. She opened the door.
"Mother?" Alice asked aloud. No reply, nothing.
"Mother?!" Alice called out as she ran to her mother. She was cold. Alice cried.
Mother is dead.
