A funeral was held.
Margaret and Lowell were the only other relatives that came besides Alice. Margaret and Lowell had been married even after Lowell spilled his secrets about his affair.
The funeral lasted until after noon. Margaret and Lowell offer Alice a ride to their place. She politely declined. She wanted to stay behind and she already knew how to get to their place, as it wasn't far.
Alice decides to live with her sister until further notice.
Everyone left the cemetery. All besides Alice. Alice walks to Helen's grave and sat in front. She wanted to pay her mother respects just one more time.
She recalled so many good memories with her.
Alice cried again.
