I felt a sudden jolt from my leg that led me to my awakening. When I opened my eyes, my vision was a little bit blurry. I think sumabay na din yung light na medyo madilim kaya hindi ako makakita ng maayos. I slowly sat up of the bed that I was laying in. How in the world did I get into this bed? The last thing I remember before falling asleep is that I asked Ricci to promise me one thing, and that was it. Now I am in an unknown place, laying on an unknown bed with no one around me who I could ask about it. Bigla tuloy akong kinabahan. I quickly composed myself as I tried to get up from the bed. Yung setting ng room is parang nasa isa akong nipa hut with a modern accent. Im guessing nasa isang hotel room ako but I am not quite sure. I walked towards the door and when I opened it, it just led me into a hallway. Para akong nasa isang bahay but still I have no idea where am I right now. I am not even sure kung nakarating nga ako sa La Union. I glanced at my watch and it read 4 o'clock. I continued walking until I heard someone call my name.

"Cydthealee Demecilloooooooo." the voice shouted na medyo pabulong.

Tumalikod ako and saw Angel na nakatayo sa sofa in the living room.

"Oh my gosh gurl!" I gushed as I rushed into the sofa and jumped on her.

Angel is my friend from college, pero nauna na siyang nag graduate sakin 3 years ago dahil on time sime. Siya talaga yung naging first college friend ko. We took up the same course and actually she is also close to Kim. One time nga ay sinama ko silang dalawa sa Cebu before Angel was about to graduate at nag vacation kaming tatlo in my place. Angel is currently living here in La Union kaya I contacted her kanina to let her know we're going here. Naikwento ko siya kay Ricci kaya naman kilala na niya ito.

"Ge!" I shouted again. This time na napalakas kaya naman she slapped me in the arm.

"Shush gurl!" tawa niya. "Alas kwatro na nang umaga oh--"

"What?" nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. "Umaga na?"

"Nakakaloka ka dai." she laughed at me as we settled sa couch. "How tired were you before you got here?"

"Grabe, I've been asleep since yesterday?" tanong ko sakanya. "Wala talaga akong tulog kahapon eh."

Then I remembered Ricci.

"Where's--" Napatigil ako sa sinasabi ko. I know na hindi ko pa napapakilala si Ricci sa kanya and for me to show up here na may kasamang lalake was really unusual for her.

"Si Ricci?" she finished my sentence with a teasing smile. "Yung gwapong kasama mo na dumayo dito?"

I gave her an awkward smile. Last na rin kasi kami nagsama is yung week after her graduation. Pagkatapos noon ay umalis na siya sa Manila and had her internship in Tokyo and she never came back there. May business siya ngayon dito kaya she's really busy and we never had the chance to catch up.

"So is Ricci your friend?" she asked me na may halong asar.

"Oo friend ko yun." I quickly agreed. "Asan siya and when did we get here? Nagulat ako pagkagising ko naka higa na ako sa isang bed, kala ko may nag kidnap na sa akin."

"Wushuu. May pa kidnap kidnap ka pa dyan." she countered. "If I know nag pa dukot ka sakanya."

"Hoy grabe ka!" I laughed. "But seriously how did we get here?"

"Hay nako Cyd, if I know alam mo naman kung pano ka napunta dito." sagot niya sa akin. "Pasimple ka pa eh, gusto mo lang talagang mag pabuhat kay Papi."

"What?" I asked her literally I am lost. "What are you saying gurl?"

"Kasi nga nakatulog ka daw, eh ayaw ka naman gisingin nung prince charming mo." I chuckled with her remark. "So ayun binuhat ka nalang niya going to your bed nung nakarating kayo dito. He actually called me using your phone."
