Eve's POV

Telling Aiden, the boys, and my friends that I was pregnant was a piece of cake. Everyone had expected it, but that didn't take away from their bright smiles of happiness for us. Zayn seemed to get more exited each time we told somebody, giggling like a child and kissing my cheek repeatedly. I had no doubt in my mind that he was just as eager to have the baby as I was.

For some reason, though, I was incredibly nervous for our weeklong trip to Bradford where we would surprise Zayn's family with the big news.

"Where are we going?" Aiden asked from the back seat as we began to make our trip up north. He had a juice box in one hand and a toy in the other, a curious look on his face.

"Grandmum and granddad's house, baby." I answered. "We're going to tell them about the new baby, so you can't say anything about it, okay? It's a secret."

Aiden started to giggle when he realized he had a secret to keep, pretending to zip his lips with his small fingers. I offered him a thumbs up and turned around to watch the road. The last thing I needed was to get car sick and vomit everywhere.

"I can't believe how grown up Waliyha and Safaa are now. Waliyha is starting UNI isn't she?" I asked Zayn.

"Yeah, they're not so little anymore." Zayn sighed.

"Neither is Aiden." I watched his eyes flick up to the rear view mirror to look at our oblivious son in his booster seat. He had turned out to be the sweetest kid in the history of children for sure, and he'd grown up far too fast.

"You're right." He said as I sighed right along with him. His gaze switched over to me. "You've got tan lines."

"What does that have to do with anything?" I scowled while, oddly enough, smiling at the same time.

Instead of replying, Zayn kept his eyes foreward for a bit while he smiled to himself, humming to whatever was on the radio. I stared at him as he drove for the rest of the car ride, fixed on those features that I still wasn't used to.

When we pulled up to the Malik household in Bradford, Aiden cheered in excitement to see the family.

"We're here?" He asked joyfully.

"Yes baby. Don't unbuckle your seatbelt just yet, alright?" I replied with a smirk on my face.

As soon as the car stopped, Aiden unbuckled and hopped out of the car, dashing to the front door and ringing the doorbell several times before I could get out of the car myself and tell him to stop.

"Aiden, stop that!" I hissed. Zayn appeared next to me and placed his hands around my shoulders in order to keep me calm.

"They've all been up since early this morning, I'm sure of it. Don't worry, baby." His accent seemed to thicken just because we were in Bradford, which was lovely in my eyes.

By the time Zayn and I caught up with Aiden, the door was open and Trisha was standing at the door with a massive smile on her face.

"My babies!" Trisha exclaimed, immediately going in for a group hug between the four of us, Aiden tugging on my shirt in the process.

"How are you, mum?" Zayn asked.

"Great, even better now that you lot are here." She smiled and invited us inside. "How was your honeymoon?"

"Gorgeous." I answered honestly.

Zayn gave me a side glance and I knew he was itching to tell her that we were expecting a child. I shook my head in the most subtle way possible and mouthed, 'wait' to him. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his eyes almost twitching.
