I turned around so I was lying on my back. I took one glance at the clock and it said 8:00 AM. Last night was really weird. Kirstie was fine but she had to keep her bandage on and Mitch had to help her walk sometimes. I only had 6 hours of sleep since the group got home from the hospital at 1 AM. And it took till 2 AM to fix everything remaining from the party and send the remaining people home.
It was just so crazy. But then again what did you expect from them. We're just those people, I thought. I looked over to my right. Mitch was supposed to be sleeping in the sleeping bag next to me but he ditched it to sleep with Kirstie. To my left was the foot of Kirstie's bed. I sat up and peeked at the two sleeping lovebirds.
I smiled and chuckled silently because of the way the were sleeping. Kirstie was cuddled up into Mitch's side while he had both arms around her. Their legs were tangled together and they seriously couldn't get any closer to each other. There was literally no space in between them. It was cute and sweet at the same time.
I stood up quietly and walked out the room. After closing the door with gentle care I went downstairs. Well now that I'm awake might as well make breakfast for everyone, I thought. I wasn't like Kevin though so I couldn't make something yummy. Cereal it is then, I thought. I grabbed a random cereal box off the middle cupboard shelf.
I took 5 bowls out of the kitchen cabinet and poured the cereal. Lazily, I poured milk in cups color coded with our current album cover colors. Black for Avi. Pink for Kirstie. Blue for me. Green for Mitch. Yellow for Kevin, I repeated in my mind. I put everything on the table and I clambered upstairs to wake everyone up. I knocked on Avi and Kevin's door and 5 seconds later a very tired Avi answered the door.
"What is it?" Avi asked in a really deep voice.
"Time to wake up," I said.
"Why?" Avi asked, rubbing his eyes.
"Cause today's gonna be busy and Meredith and Samantha are gonna be here in about an hour," I said.
"Oh god. I'll be out in 10 minutes," Avi said. With that he shut the door and I went over to Kirstie's room. I opened the door and found Mitch and Kirstie making out like high schoolers, touching each other...everywhere.
"How many times to I have to walk into this?" I asked myself. Mitch and Kirstie immediately stopped and looked at me. Mitch nervously laughed and scratched the back of his head while Kirstie blushed a very deep red.
"We were just-uhh-we weren't-umm-maybe it was-err," Mitch stammered.
"I just-We never-I can't," Kirstie stuttered.
"Hey calm down guys. It's ok. I made cereal. You two better hurry it up. Today's gonna be busy," I said. The two nodded and got up to change while I closed the door and went back downstairs. Of course I was still wearing pajamas but I decided I would change after breakfast. I sat at the table and began eating. After a while Avi and Kevin came downstairs and joined me.
"Hi," I said.
"Hello," Avi said.
"Hey," Kevin said. After a couple more minutes Mitch and Kirstie came downstairs, holding hands and talking about random little things.
"Hi LoveBirds," I said.
"Hi," Kirstie said in between giggles from something Mitch whispered in her ear.
"Hey Scooter," Mitch said.
"Shall we discuss today's plans?" Kevin asked.
"Sounds like a good idea," Avi replied.
"Let's do that," I said. Mitch and Kirstie nodded and sat down at the table to eat.
"First of all we eat," Kevin said.
"Then Scott changes," Avi said looking at me. I sheepishly smiled in return.
"We get ready for Kirstin Taylor," I said.
"We take her in," Mitch said, still staring at Kirstie.
"Then our helpers get here," Kirstie said after kissing Mitch's cheek.
"You two can film your Superfruit episode," Kevin said pointing at me and Mitch.
"Scott will edit and then Mitch and Kirstie will be with the rest of us to help Kirstin Taylor," Avi said.
"How about we just call the girl; Kirstin and call Kirstie by what we always call her; Kirstie," I offered.
"That would be very helpful," Kevin said nodding.
"True. Let's do that," Avi said.
"As long as my Kirstie stays my Kitty," Mitch said.
"Awww," Kirstie replied. I finished and took my bowl to put it in the sink. After washing it I went upstairs.
"I'm gonna go change. We'll play the 'Plan the Day' game later," I said with a playful smirk. The rest of the group laughed and I went upstairs. Can you guys believe this story started 4 months ago?
