Time skip: A couple days later

Kirstie buried her head in Mitch's chest.

"Please wake Mitch. Please," Kirstie begged.

Mitch's eyes didn't open.

They stayed closed as he rested.

"I'm worried about you Mitch. I love you," Kirstie continued.

Still no answer.

"Drew got sent to a mental prison...but for some reason I feel like he's not done with us," Kirstie said.

The constant steady beep was reassuring.

A couple days ago Mitch flatlined but the doctors were able to bring him back.

Thankfully...

I love you...," Mitch said in a deathly quiet voice.

"I-I love you too. Mitchie don't! Mitchell!" Kirstie screamed.

Mitch opened his eyes for a second but then they closed.

Right at that second, the ambulance got there and picked him up to lift him into a stretcher.

Scott and Avi had to hold her back when she started screaming at them to leave him alone.

"They're going to help Kirstie!" Scott shouted.

"Kirstie it's ok!" Avi said.

When the doctors hooked him up to the machine it didn't a take a second before they all heard the flatline.

Kirstie sank down to the ground and cried.

When Kirstie heard that flatline she thought the world was falling apart.

But by some miracle, that day, the doctors made it possible for him to breath again.

From that day forward, Kirstie refused to leave his side at the hospital bed.

She was afraid it was going to happen again.

Kirstie cried everyday Mitch was still sleeping.

She cried everyday she remembered him pushing her out of the way so she wouldn't get hurt.

Kirstie cried everyday she thought of all the good and fun memories.

And whenever she looked at her stomach she would cry even harder at the thought their little girl might grow up without her father.

"Everyone's waiting for you to wake up...even the fans...we stopped the tour. We've been in the same city since-," Kirstie said, cutting herself off with a whimper.

Since the day you got stabbed.

"When will you wake Mitch? I miss you...it's hard saying 'I love you' and you don't answer back," Kirstie sniffed.

"Mitchie please...I love you," Kirstie said.

She felt that clogged feeling in her throat when she was about to cry.

No...no more crying.

She needed to stay strong...for their baby.

Their little girl.
