I closed the door to my house and smiled brightly.

Today I would meet the rest of Pentatonix, Mitch, Scott, Avi, and Kevin, at the party I would be hosting right here.

I was just going out for some decorations.

I wanted to jazz it up like I always do.

We, as Pentatonix, just won our second Grammy a couple of weeks ago and I wanted the celebration party to be special.

I fixed my hair and took my phone and keys out of my pocket.

I unlocked my car door and got inside throwing my phone into the passenger seat.

I started the car and backed out of the driveway and started to head towards the store.

I swore though that I saw someone under the park bench.

Not just anyone.

A child about 8 years old.

I could tell it was a girl.

Her hair was messed up and all over the place.

She had tattered and dirty clothes and she was curled into a ball.

You're just hallucinating, I thought; even though I knew...I really wasn't.

I tried concentrating on the road before me, but I couldn't get that girl out of my mind.

Something about her made just my insides jitter.

Not in a bad way, a good way, that tries to tell you something, even if you don't have a clue about what that is.

Weird, I thought.

Then my phone went off and I parked to see why.

It was just that Mitch posted an Instagram photo and tagged me in it.

I sighed slightly.

Mitch, I thought with a dreamy voice.

I practically smacked myself in the face.

No way!you can not date him again! It will ruin the group! And he's your best friend! That would ruin your friendship!  I thought.

Instead of going back to driving on the road I opened his text box and DMed him.
