(DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO TELL ME IT'S WHEN TRUMP IS OFFICIAL PRESIDENT! I know it as end of fall semester in school)

"Hello?" Mitch answered his phone.

"Hello? Mitch is that you? Is Kirstie with you?" Kevin's voice asked through the phone.

"Yeah it's me. Kirstie's asleep though," Mitch said, scratching his head.

"Oh well I just want to let you know her morning sickness should be going away by now but nightmares might be more frequent," Kevin noted.

"Like what would the nightmares be about?" Mitch asked.

"Maybe the usual or nightmares about not being good enough to start a family. It's just something our old primal instincts included in the past. It helped our ancestors survive in a harsh environment," Kevin said.

"Thanks for the warning Kev," Mitch said with a small smile.

"Well just thought you should know. Since this is new to both of you," Kevin chuckled.

"Yeah," Mitch laughed.

"You sure you can handle Kirstie's needs? If not I can call Scott and he can come over and-," Kevin started to offer.

"No Kevin it's fine! Kirstie forgets about her nightmares once I tell her it isn't real," Mitch said.

"That's what I thought. You have a gift Mitch," Kevin replied.

"I wouldn't call it a gift. I'd just call Kirstie a blessing," Mitch said.

"Well you better watch over her. She usually wakes up 15 minutes from now," Kevin said.

"What do you study us or something?" Mitch joked.

Mitch heard Kevin laugh.

"That's one way to put it. Bye Mitch," Kevin said.

"Bye," Mitch said.

Mitch hung up his phone and put it on the counter.

He walked up the stairs and went into the bedroom.

Kirstie was curled up into a ball, snoring a little.

And even if she snored, it was cute beyond words.

Mitch knelt down beside the bed and kissed Kirstie's forehead.

"Miscarriage?" Kirstie echoed.

"Yes Mrs. Grassi and I know it's unfortunate but-," the doctor said.

Kirstie slid her hand over her stomach.

"Miscarriage?!" Kirstie repeated louder.

"Yes Mrs. Grassi...I'm sorry...we'll schedule an appointment to take the baby out next week," the doctor said.

Kirstie looked around the room.
