Time skip: July 23rd aka National Vanilla Ice Cream Day and National Parents Day
(Y'all I'm scaring myself these events are lining up perfectly)
"Mitch can I have ice cream?" Kirstie whined.
"Kevin says you have to stop eating junk food since you're due any day now," Mitch said.
"Ice cream!" Kirstie whined louder.
Mitch shook his head.
She buried her head in his neck and yelled 'Ice Cream' again.
"Sorry baby but no," Mitch chuckled.
Kirstie's fingers brushed his side gently.
"Does it still hurt?" Kirstie asked gently.
"No," Mitch smiled.
"How about your shoulder?" Kirstie asked.
"It's fine sweet pea," Mitch chuckled.
"Can I have ice cream now?" Kirstie asked.
"No," Mitch said firmly.
Kirstie pouted but she didn't argue back.
She just cuddled closer Mitch and put her hand on her stomach.
Mitch rubbed her stomach gently and Kirstie giggled.
"I love you," Kirstie cooed.
"I love you too baby," Mitch said with a huge smile.
"Hey love birds," Scott said, walking in the hotel room.
"How'd you get in?" Mitch asked.
"Esther gave me a spare key," Scott shrugged.
"At least knock, you could've caught us-uhh...never mind," Kirstie said.
"What? Caught you two have sex again? Wouldn't be the first time," Scott scoffed.
Kirstie closed her eyes and rested her head on Mitch's shoulder, pretending Scott didn't say anything.
Mitch rubbed her stomach gently, making her feel safe and secure in his arms.
"So why are you here?" Mitch asked Scott.
"I just wanted to hang out. Before it was Scott and Mitch and before that it was the trio...and before that Scott and Kirstie high schoolers. I guess I kinda missed you two," Scott shrugged.
"Come in then! Well you're already in the room but let's do it!" Kirstie exclaimed.
"I agree, wanna sit?" Mitch asked, pointing at a free spot on the bed.
Scott plopped onto the bed and Mitch and Kirstie turned to face him.
"Who's watching the dogs?" Scott asked.
"A neighbor...but I don't wanna see the look on their face when they see Hunter," Kirstie said.
"Hunter?" Scott asked.
"Remember that little wolf cub we took in? Well we looked through all the names the fans came up with and picked Hunter," Mitch answered.
"Who came up with Hunter?" Scott asked.
"ThatWolfyPentaholic which kinda fit the point of Hunter being a wolf anyway," Kirstie shrugged.
"So how are Olaf and Pascal doing with Hunter?" Scott asked.
"Olaf already did it before, you know the learning to be a big brother, but I'm worried about Pascal," Kirstie said.
