Everyone gathered around Auora's high chair. She was wearing a cute of mice and men shirt with her hair pushed out of her face since it wasn't long enough to pull up. I lit the candle that had the number 1 on it, and then sat in down on the little tray thing. She smiled wide and giggled.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy to you Aoura!" Everyone cheered and she tried to blow the candle out. Once she did she put her hand in the white icing and chocolate cake. She shoved it in her mouth and then started to laugh. Everyone was taking pictures, and I stood there smiling while Austin stood behind me his arms wrapped around my waist. He rested his chin on my head, and he hummed a tune. I smiled looking at our child who was eating cake with Phoenix, while Miles was talking to this girl. I removed when she took her first step, it was so adorable. As we stood there Auora opened her mouth, but instead of a noise it was a word. Her first word!
"Cake!" She smiled. Austin laughed.
"She sure is your daughter." He laughed. I playfully hit him on the chest and then went to clean up Auora and Phoenix.

Emily and Austin stayed together, and raised Auora to be a metal princess. Phoenix was always around, and Miles was getting married to a very nice girl. In the end, even though it's been tough, everything turned out to be okay.
