I WANTED TO WRITE A SURPRISE CHAPTER BECAUSE I'M REALLY PROUD OF THIS STORY. AURORA AND PHOENIX ARE TEENAGERS!
aurora's pov
"Phoenix!" I yelled chasing after him in the woods behind the school. I couldn't find him, so I was panicking a little. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, so I whipped around to see Phoenix standing there laughing.
"You asshat!" I exclaimed pushing him back playfully. I turned away and blushed.
"You know you love me." He laughed turning me around. There was a slight blush on his cheeks causing me to blush more. We held eye contact for what felt like forever. I stared into his beautiful hazel eyes, and then glanced down at his lips. When I looked back up he was smirking. The gap between us slowly closed, and his lips were on mine. My arms were wrapped around his neck, and his were wrapped around my waist. We pulled away for a breath, but then locked lips again. I could taste the ice cream we had gotten earlier on his soft lips, I smiled into the kiss. This time when we pulled away we were panting. Phoenix smiles at me and then kisses my forehead.
"You wanna be mine?" He asked. I blushed at the word mine. I nodded my head quickly and we walked home hand in hand. When I walked through the door Mom and Dad were in the kitchen cooking dinner and laughing.
"I love you." I heard dad say as he spun mom around.
"I love you too." She said standing up on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek. I walked into the kitchen and mom hugged me.
"How's Phoenix?" She asked smirking a little. She knew I had a crush on him since forever.
"Great." I breathed out smiling. She got the hint and smiled wide. Dad stood there confused, but mom just occupied him till I could sneak out. Mom told me all about her and dad's romance, it was lovely. It wasn't perfect, but it was love. There was a knock on my window so I opened it and looked down to see Phoenix. He climbed up and crawled through the window.
"What are you doing?" I whispered confused.
"I came to tell you something." He replied smiling and blushing.
"Yeah?" I questioned locking my door quickly.
"I love you." His lips landed on mine, and I smiled. The kiss was sweet and passionate. When we pulled away he looked at me worried.
"I love you too." He smiled and kissed me again before climbing out my window and back into his. I unlocked my door to see my mom standing there smiling.
"Ah, young love." She laughed tucking a stand of hair behind her ear. I laughed with her and then we ate.
