Chapter Seven - Afraid of Love

A/N: I allow you guys to all kill me and hunt me down, i dont blame you for hating me, something happened at school and it made me afraid to fall in love again. So whenever i tried to write this chapter it ended up crappy since i didn’t know how to write about love anymore. Im afraid to fall in love again, so im writing this story in hopes that i can find a way to find love again. so i think i can try to relate to Dace in this chapter

The only thing i could do at this moment of time. I just didn’t know what to do anymore. Anytime my mind drifted back to Kane, I found my head burning in pain. The dull ache didn’t stop no matter how hard I tried to run away from it.

The noise increased, louder and louder, the pain growing, stronger and stronger. I needed something, anything to stop this pain. I drew a quick turn as I increased speed. I just dodged a tree as it passed by me in a blur. I stumbled a little over the rock as I kept running.

step by……..but there was no step.

My face connected to the cold moist autumn ground as my body went up and down in strong heavy breaths. My vision blurred as my ears popped in pain from the sound increasing more and more. My stomach felt bloated as everything I touched made it feel even worse. It felt as if I was absorbing something. And every time I took a breath in it hurt my lungs.

I shivered in pain as I tried to clear my head. I needed to get home….

Home….

I looked down at the small figure on the ground breathing in and out in heavy breaths. He looked so frail right now…as if I could break him in one touch. I licked my bloodied fangs as I touched his arm and instently my hand shot back in shock. I clenched, then unclenched my fists. For some reason I felt as if I just sucked something in me without me knowing…

“Lord Rath, Just leave the child, he is dead” My minion Crow whispered beside me.

I shook my head.

“No, this boy is mine…Tell the elders im not coming home tonight” I commanded Crow, dismissing him with a wave of my hand.

Crow bowed before disappearing in a cloud of feathers and was no longer in my line of vision.
