I Can Be Your Hero, Baby

Plot: Phil is a "superhero" who saves Dan and the two fall in love. Thank you to Imisscrazycat for this prompt! I don't really know how superhero AUs work out, so I'm making Phil some sort of "saviour" per se.

"News have just came out that a shooter has been spotted near Howell Headquarters. So far 2 people are dead, and the building needs help immediately! We're hoping someone can help!"

Phil looked at the TV in shock. He really needed to save everyone there; he is a superhero so that's supposed to be his job.

Plus, Howell Headquarters used to be his coverup before he exposed himself as "Captain Striker", a pseudonym he put up for himself when he caught a kidnapper of a child who'd been missing for 4 years. He saved fires and school shootings, but he's thinking.

Can I, a local superhero that isn't that well-known, save Howell Headquarters, a really big company that has stores all around the world?

Sir Howell's building in London is in peril. I need to rush there.

He ran off, grabbing all his important things, and drove to the gold building that was the headquarters. When he arrived after a few minutes, there he saw him; the handsome, charming, and smart Daniel Howell. He fell in love with him when he worked at his company, but he's never got to know him well.

Bullets were being fired everywhere he looked. People were being rushed inside the ambulances surrounding the area. Police were asking witnesses about what the shooter looked like and told them to make a depiction of their face.

"Help! Someone! The shooter started a fire!" Phil heard Dan shout. "I've got you sir, stay right there!" The black haired man shouted back. The younger quickly nodded and stayed as calm as he could.

Phil quickly but carefully carried Dan to safety bridal style. He was smaller than the 6 ft 3 man, so it was kind of difficult for him to lift the other up.

Dan took a glimpse at the stranger's face.

Wow, he's extremely cute. His eyes are so trusting and bright, and oh my god, he still looks good even with burns on his face.

He shook those thoughts out of his mind. After all, he was a complete stranger that he just met. Dan felt himself being put down, and he let out a relieved sigh.

Phil panted for his breath, struggling to breathe after carrying Dan about 5 miles away from his headquarters.

"Thank you so much for saving me. My office could be destroyed, but I have a small headquarters in Reading, so I have hope." Dan said, flashing an attractive smile. The latter blushed, giving a shy smile back.

"You're welcome, Sir. It's my job to save people, I'm kind of a "superhero" if that's what I'm considered." Phil replied, feeling happy for saving his crush.

"What's your name?" The brown haired man asked curiously. Phil tensed up a bit.

I can't believe it. He's actually wanting to know some simple boy from Manchester who's "saved him".

"Phil. P-Phil Lester." Dan shook his hand after he said his name. "You know who I am already, but just call me Dan."

"N-Nice to actually talk to you sir, it's such an honour." Phil said sheepishly, blushing once again.

Good lord, he's so adorable when he's shy like this.

"You know, you're extremely cute. Would you want to go out with me sometime?" The taller said to the other, tucking a hair behind his ear as he looked at him with a look that basically is a babe magnet.

The older boy didn't know what to do at this point. Dan was just killing him right now with how attractive he is, especially when he was called "cute".

"S-Sure. Maybe at that café I live right next to in Manchester, I can drive you there!" Phil said excitedly. Dan chuckled and nodded before walking next to the other.

And that's the story of how a successful entrepreneur met an anonymous boy with a kind heart who was soon to be his husband.
