Double the Love

Plot: Dan has a twin named Duncan and the two try and make each other jealous by telling the other what types of interactions they made with him.

(A/N: Yes, I am aware Phil didn't have black hair during his fetus years. Also yeah, I put the bacouple (Duncan and Mimei, D&P's friends) in this oneshot since they're so fudging cute together. Thanks to candytyson for sending me the prompt!)

"Why are you so happy, Dan?"

"I made Phil laugh today. It was cute as hell!"

Duncan frowned. He liked Phil, maybe was even in love with him. Dan was too. This caused the two to have more tension with each other, and it was horrendous.

"Well, that's nice." He scowled, a frown on his face.

"Well today in maths, we were paired up for a project. I had so much fun with him, and we got our work done so quickly. It was perfect."

Now Dan was the one frowning. He had enough of the tension. They used to be so close, but when they both fell for the new kid at school, things started to go south.

"You know that girl that hangs out with Phil sometimes, right? She seems so right for you." Dan suggested. Duncan crossed his arms. "You're just jealous because I was the one that comforted Phil when his pet rabbit died. But yeah, I guess she's cute."

"It wasn't my fault that I couldn't comfort him because someone took him away from me!"

"And besides, in middle school, you guys always sat next to each other during lunch and talked so fucking much that I felt lonely as shit."

"I think Mimei is super adorable and smart. But Phil is still mine though."

"Face it, Duncan, he likes me."

"No, I think he likes me."

"Oh yeah? Well-"

Then their doorbell rang. The two both ran down the stairs to see who is it at the door.

It's Phil and Mimei.

Duncan opened the door to see Mimei smiling and Phil looking down at his shoes.

How cute. They both thought in unison.

"Phil, it will be okay." Mimei whispered in his ear. The boy nodded before going inside the house of the two brothers along with her.

"Umm, so I have something to tell you." Phil said, nervous. Dan and Duncan were both confused since they didn't know who Phil was meaning to talk to.

"I like you, D-Dan." The black haired boy stuttered, smiling his signature smile with his tongue sticking out.

Dan's heart was beating crazy fast. Duncan's was slowly being shattered into a million pieces.

"Phil...I like you too! I like you a lot." Dan exclaimed, pulling the boy into a tight hug and a quick kiss. Duncan felt broken inside, and was about to walk up to his room when suddenly, he felt a hand rubbing circles on his back.

Mimei.

"You seem to like the guy. It'll be alright, you'll find your love eventually." Mimei comforted him, looking up at him with love in his eyes. She liked him; she loved him. Ever since middle school. She does want to keep it low-key so she won't suffer from heart break.

"Actually...I think I have..." Duncan said softly, gazing into her eyes. Mimei felt so complete when this moment happened. She quickly kissed his cheek, blushing afterwards since she just couldn't help herself. He was so handsome. Duncan placed his hand onto the spot she kissed, before pecking her nose gently.

The four watched movies together with grins on their faces. The moment was perfect; everything was perfect.
