Just Wanna

Plot: Freshman fem!Phil gets called a "lesbian" at school but things turn to a fairytale plot twist.

(A/N: Hi guys! I decided to write about this from a post I saw on Instagram and I thought it was very cute so I decided to write this. It wouldn't work with regular Phan but I made one of the two a girl so it'd work out :) Hope you enjoy guys! <3 I thought Just Wanna by Amber and Eric Nam fit, and I really liked it.)

          Phil's POV

          I was walking towards my locker, putting my books inside since it was too much for me to carry. That was my normal routine everyday between classes. As usual, Cat came behind me again.  She's this sophomore girl who apparently has a crush on me, and I have no problem with it whatsoever, but I'm straight, and when I say no, she doesn't stop, which makes me super uncomfortable and unsafe.

(Note: I don't hate Cat, it's just some people actually ship Cat and Phil or Cat and Dan. And they're fucking serious.)

Usually, she only flirts with me, but this time, she pushed me against my now closed locker, the scent of mint getting stronger. This crossed the line, so I pushed her away more violently than I intended to, and she quickly scurried off.

Unfortunately, everyone saw what had happened and instead of going to the principal, they all started to crowd around me, taunting at me. "Lesbian" here, "Eww, she's gay!" there. I was panicking because I'm extremely claustrophobic, as well as the fact that people are using labels for the LGBT+ community as a way to insult me.

The most unfortunate part however, is that my crush, super sweet, super dreamy, and super smart Daniel Howell was right next to me where his locker was. Ugh, I hate myself and I'm pretty sure he hates me too.

Dan P.O.V

          I was walking back from History class, going to my locker, which was right next to Phillippa Lester's locker. Phillippa Lester, the gorgeous, smart, and wonderful girl I've always had eyes on. She's way out of my league, I thought.

Speaking of Phillippa, I saw a bunch of people crowding around her, shouting things about her being a...lesbian? Well, if she was, then it's okay, her happiness is what gives me happiness.

She looked uncomfortable in her position, shouting for people to stop and that she was straight. Oh, thank god I have a chance with her. 

Phil P.O.V

          I saw him, and decided to be brave and confess to him in front of all these people to show who's boss. 

I grabbed him by the shirt, not being too aggressive. He's Daniel Howell after all, I don't wanna hurt him.

"If I were lesbian, would I do this?" And so I kissed him. Time stopped and it felt like he was the only one in the room with me.

Good on you, Phillippa. Good on you.

Dan P.O.V

          "If I were lesbian, would I do this?" Her beautiful voice repeated the sentence in my mind many times, trying to find out what she was gonna do next, until I felt pressure against my lips.

I was kissing her.

It felt like I were in heaven. I never knew a girl like her can like a guy like me.

We stayed like that until she pulled back, and I wanted to kiss her all over again.

"I love you." She said softly, leaning her forehead against mine. I felt my cheeks burning. I never knew this day would come but it came and I feel so happy.

"I love you too, Phillippa. I always will." She smiled and pecked my cheek, and I held her hand.

Phil P.O.V

          I looked back at the people and some of them cheered while others smiled. Cat was clearly not happy, and even though I'm not in good terms with her, I hope she finds someone soon.

I saw my best friend Shawna walk past me and Dan and she flashed a bright smile at us. She's probably gonna blab about it to me for the next few weeks.

"Will you be my girlfriend. Yeah, yeah, we could be considered a couple since we kissed, but I haven't popped the huge question yet and I feel like that's the way to make a relationship officia-"

I cut him off with another quick kiss.

"Of course I will, cute dork. He receives a boop on the nose from me, which paints a bright smile on his face.

Gosh, he's so handsome.

I love this boy. And I can't wait to live my life with him by my side and me by his. Who cares what people think, I'm extremely happy with him, and I can't wait for what awaits us in the future.

Dan P.O.V

          I love this girl. And I love my life knowing that she loves me too. My days will be brighter and better with her as my one and only.
