Plot: Even if they have a 1 foot height difference, they still love each other dearly.
(a/n - okie so phil is 5 ft 2 in this story while dan is 6 ft 2 making this an au. i personally like seeing smol phil, it's cute ^-^ ofc no plot, just the good things about their height difference in this story and also sorry for the crappy title)
Dan and Phil are two YouTubers, and they're also best friends, coworkers and boyfriends. The thing is, that Phil is 5' 2", and Dan is 6'2".
Their height difference is more than at least 2 inches, but it's fine since Dan has to suffer from cuteness overload when Phil hugs him by jumping up and trying to reach his neck, then wrapping his legs around his waist.
He is also an adorable little spoon too, just a tiny cutie mewling of happiness snuggling into his lover's strong arms.
When Phil falls asleep during movie nights and Dan having to carry him like those wedding poses, the one where the groom carries the bride.
The times where they lovingly kissed, Phil having to stand on his tippy-toes even though that won't help him reach him even just a tiny bit, or Dan having to lean down, but that's more like bending down. They decided on Dan picking up Phil by his small waist, then carrying him the whole kiss. Perfect; they thought.
Dan's favourite moment with Phil having to do with height difference; when Phil is too small for the ginormous dining chairs they have in their apartment. Why he likes it is because that is one of the opportunities he can put Phil on his lap and feed him. It's cute, and Phil enjoys the contact too.
It doesn't matter if Phil is shorter than Dan and Dan is taller than Phil. Their love is true love, and that's what matters.
