He wakes up touching and feeling the side of the bed where she normally sleeps. He opens his eyes and confirms its void. He turns and sees her at the far end of the room, standing by the window, looking through the slit of the drawn curtains. Soft music is playing and she sways ever so slightly. He watches, smiling.
