"I chickened out.
What if... I ask her and she... Wants that.
What sort of idiot would I be?
This is the most scared I've been; at least with her. If I bring this up, and it leads to contrasting views, I could too easily lose her. I'm not willing to lose her, and I'm not willing to... I can't even write the words, let alone say them to her.
I tell myself she is reasonable, and I know that she is.
But this... This is beyond me."
