"I knew this day would come.
I suppose all along I knew that someone as kind as Ophelia could never understand the true darkness of my mind. The evil that corrupted me; even though I was brainwashed into doing all these things, there was a part of my mind that did not hate what I did. Of course, there was always a part nagging to get out, trying to break me free from the world of violence. But it didn't win until last year, it didn't win until O got in there. Seventy years of violence. There was no way that she had seen everything, or if she had, she didn't get to feel each individual emotion I felt with each kill I had.
Last night, she did.
She can't look at me right now; she's been locked in the bathroom for an hour, ever since she got up. When I woke, she couldn't look me in the eyes, and then she got up and left. I knew, I knew what had happened. I could feel the essence of her in my head, I knew that she had been in there and she had not liked what she had seen. And why would she?
I'm a monster."
