The story of Lightning Song and Sans... It certainly is a long story to tell. But I assume you are here because you want to hear about it, or maybe you stumbled here accidentally. Whatever your intentions may be, grab a snack, and relax. This is a story about a pony and a skeleton whose world's suddenly collided by a lucky game of chance.

Life on the surface was everything Sans thought it out to be. He lived happily with his brother, Frisk, and Toriel. Flowey was there, too, but he never got along well with him anyway.

However, Sans knew this world of peace would only last for a short while. There would be a time where Frisk reset, and Sans would lose all his memories of everything that happened on the surface.

It was a cycle he was used to. He cared for Frisk and all, yet he couldn't understand why they deliberately went back and erased everything.

Sans was never really happy. Not when he knew that everything he loved could be taken away from him. Taken away by a human child whose curiosity got the best of them. He couldn't stop the resets, he couldn't stop the saves or reloads, and he would just be sent right back to the underground with no memory of the surface.

But it had been a year now since monsters were freed from the underground. Sans would always hope that maybe Frisk wouldn't reset again. But he never got his hopes up.

But one day, on his way home from Grillby's, Sans made a teleportation error that would change his entire life. Sans managed to jump between worlds, something he never knew he was capable of. This resulted in him finding himself in a world called Equestria, the land of magic and harmony...

Lightning Song was a pegasus residing in Ponyville. She tended to keep to herself and stayed in her room amongst her toys and coloring books. Lightning Song grew rather lonely, though, for her parents were always out of town and traveling. There was nothing particularly interesting that happened in her life; she was just like every other pony in Equestria.

But Lightning Song was just a foal, and curious she was. Lightning Song wondered what it was like to have friends, other ponies she could talk and relate to. What she felt she needed the most was a friend.

And a friend she got, but it wasn't a pony like she expected it to be.

Lightning Song didn't know how it happened. She was just sitting in her room, humming as she colored in a coloring book. It was a quiet day, she was alone in her room with the babysitter downstairs preparing her lunch.

Then, right before her eyes, a figure appeared right in front of her.

It was a strange creature, like nothing she had ever seen in her picture books. This creature appeared to be made of bone, an oversized hoodie covering his frame. The creature looked rather drowsy, their white pupils were small and dull. They didn't notice Lightning Song immediately but instead looked around curiously.

"What the hell..." they muttered, their eyes scanning over the room before they found Lightning Song gazing up at him curiously.

Lightning Song assumed it was a male. His pupils widened at the sight of her, brightening as he took a step back. "What the fuck? Papyrus!" he called out, stepping even farther from Lightning Song as if she was a threat. "Is this another one of your damn puzzles? I thought we talked about doing this!"
