Frisk was next.

Lightning Song and Sans stood outside of their room. Sans hoped with everything that Flowey wouldn't be there, for he wasn't even going to show Lightning Song to him. He would be able to meet her later tonight anyway. Not only could Sans not stand Flowey, but he also didn't need Lightning Song to be around that negative attitude.

The skeleton knocked on the door, setting Lightning Song down yet again.

Frisk suddenly opened the door, giving Sans a small smile. They looked down and saw Lightning Song, glancing back up at Sans in shock and confusion.

"Heya, Frisk. Mind if we come in?" When Frisk nodded and moved to the side, Lightning Song and Sans walked into the room.

Lightning Song looked over to a pile of Frisk's drawing. So they liked to draw, too? Lightning Song figured if they became good friends, they could draw together. But she kept her mouth shut because she didn't know what to say. She just let Sans deal with the talking. As much as she was excited about getting new friends, it was rather nerve-wracking.

Frisk shut the door and gave Sans a strange look, vaguely gesturing over to Lightning Song. Sans didn't even need to know what Frisk was trying to tell him. They wanted to know who exactly this small pony was.

"Frisk, meet Lightning Song. Lightning Song, meet Frisk," Sans introduced the two, soon finding out he was going to have to keep the conversation going himself. Frisk didn't speak much, and Lightning Song hasn't said much ever since they left Equestria. Was she not enjoying her time here?

Frisk simply nodded and smiled in Lightning Song's direction.

The pony looked over at Sans and cocked her head to the side. Weren't they going to speak to her?

"Uh..." Sans gave a small, awkward laugh. "Frisk doesn't talk much, LS. They aren't mute, but getting a word out of them is rare."

Lightning Song wasn't sure where the sudden nickname had come from, but she didn't have a problem with it. She turned to Frisk, returning their smile. "Do you like to color, too?" she asked, hoping her assumptions were correct.

Frisk nodded and scurried over to their pile of drawings. They gestured Lightning Song over, which she quickly complied. Frisk started to show Lightning Song the drawings one by one, a wide smile on their face.

Sans watched the two for a while. It was nice to finally have some downtime; it's been a long day for him. That's when Sans suddenly realized that this peace may not last forever. He thought back to what he said about swearing to keep this timeline around for as long as possible. But that wasn't in his control. Sans could hope and wish and dream all he wanted, but it wouldn't stop Frisk from pressing that button. If he was going to keep this timeline around... He needed to speak to Frisk personally.

He let the two talk amongst themselves (or, Lightning Song was doing more of the talking, Frisk was just nodding and smiling along to everything she said) for a bit longer. Finally, he sighed and opened the door, catching the attention of Frisk and Lightning Song. "Hey, Frisk... Could I speak to ya for a moment?" he asked.

Frisk hesitated for a second before giving Lightning Song one last smile and standing up. They followed Sans out of the room, not quite sure what he wanted to talk about.
