My wife is a fucking genius spending the holiday season Iceland is amazing. We arrived 2 days ago weve spent most of that time snowboarding Cates is bloody awful. Its hilarious currently im sat in the living room area of the lodge sipping coffee with mum. "I cant believe it luke you're gonna be a dad" she said excited"I know its insane" I smile. "Im so proud of you Luke all that you've accomplished. I would worry about you but when I met Cates I was done with all that. You love her so much" mum vents.

"I really do its been tough with her first with the divorce then her mum. Now her dad wants her to be mandis maid of honor he dosent realize what a keniving bitch she is to Cates. " I say"that poor girl well if this mandi chick lays a finger on either of you tell me. I will cut her out"she said stern I laughed"thanks mum I love you a lot" I say "I love you too". Cates and Jack are out on the slopes they wanted an early start Ben and dad are getting breakfast.

"This was such a lovely idea only 5 more days til Christmas I cant wait ive missed having us around at Christmas time. " "I know me too" I smile dad and Ben come back with breakfast. "I called jack they're on their way here should be here in about 2 minutes" dad says. "Im starving" I exclaim"hey paws off till they get back " mum scolds"yes mum" I sit back down. Jack came in laughing with Cates on his back"thanks Jack" she kisses his cheek. "Anything for the girl carrying my nephew" Jack said. "How do you know its a boy" Cates inquires.

"I have magic baby powers thats how" he jokes"well im sorry but you're magical powers off cause im pretty sure its a girl" Cates jokes back. "Can we eat now" I ask chipper"Lucas have some manners look at them Cates Jack go change well wait. "Mum said I groan an sit back down Cates comes back wearing a stripped sweater dress and boots. "Right her sister" Ben calls patting the seat next to him just waiting on jack now. "Liz I know were suppose to wait but since im eating for two can I grab mine".

"Of course Catekins you okay sweetie want any water or coffee" mum offers."I'll be fine thanks" Cates smiles Jack comes back down"thank god" I say oh my god breakfast was amazing. We had these amazing pastries and breakfast sandwiches. "Im ready for the slopes now whose coming" I ask"I'll join you" Ben said. "Im gonna pass" Jack says"Cates" I smirk"fuck yes lets do this shit" she jumps up."Bit excited are we" I do my eyebrow trick"Jack showed me some stuff" she winks. "Babe take a hat I dont you to get cold" I said.

"Hats are for losers right Ben" she says"totally" he agrees I throw one in my pocket anyways. I carry mine and Cates stuff to the lift"you ready Cates" I ask"fuck yeah snowboards" she yells." You say im the dork" I tease"shut up lukeyboo" she sticks her tongue out. We get off the lift and start going Cates lasts about a quarter before she tumbles over. I laugh so hard Ben helps Cates up we continue down I swerve my way down turning around in circles sometimes. "Luke slow the fuck down stop being a show off" Cates teases I glare at her.

"Mad luke is hott luke" she blows me a kiss I just stand there and blush. I wait for Cates at the bottom of the hill all of a sudden she got so fast and headed straight for me. Do I move do I catch her ugh "Lukey coming in fast" she calls there was a tree behind me. I better catch her I thought I take a couple hops and reach out for her arms. She hits me with a lot of force"good thing you're so tall" she giggles.

"Okay speedy from now on ill hold your hand so you dont run into me again" I laugh. We go down 2 more times then Cates is cold"its about lunchtime anyway" i tell her. "Hey kiddos how was snowboarding lunch is on the table its sandwiches help yourself" mum greets us with hugs. We take off our layers and head back down"hey lukeyboo" Cates pouts"sit by the fire get warm. Ill go get you some food and make us hot chocolate" I kiss her cheek"thanks I love you" she says"love you more" I smile.

Cates and I sit by the fire and eat our lunches once were done she moves over to my lap. I look at her"stop looking at me like that" she laughs"nope you're pretty" I pull her closer to my face. I place lots of kisses on her face Cates laughs a lot"lukey stop it" "no let me be cute" I protest. The rest of the day we spent indoors Cates and I helped mum cook dinner it was delicious. "God im so sleepy" Cates exclaims I lay her down on me singing softly to her.

The next couple days went buy so fast and before we knew it it was Christmas eve. We always one present on Christmas eve its one of my favorite traditions. "Mum why dont you choose a gift first since you worked so hard" I offer"okay ill take Jack's gift" she smiles at him"its a good one mum" Jack smirks. Mum opens it"oh Jack you shouldent have" she cries"guys look Jack made me scrapbooks with all my pictures. I always wanted to make them but never found the tine" mum gives Jack a big hug.

"Okay Luke I volunteer you to go next" mum chuckles"um ill take bens gift" I say"you deserve it. Im proud of you Luke" Ben told me"thanks man" I smile I opened it and almost shit myself inside was concert tickets. A lot of them 2 for the Maine 2 for blink 2 for with confidence and 2 for new politics I ran around screaming. "My god Luke calm down" Cates laughs"how the wow thanks Ben this is incredible" I say hugging him tight. "All my favorite artists this is insane" I exclaim"you can take whoever you want to these concerts but I get to go to blink" Ben told me.

"Done deal skipparoo" "im sorry that was awkward" "shit now ive made it more awkward" "why is noone else talking" I sputter out. "Lukeyboo you're such a cute dork" Cates laughs kissing my cheek. Ben went next"ill take Cates and Luke's" he smiles"its not concert tickets but its pretty cool" i tell him. We bought Ben new snowboarding equipment and stuff for his apartment "thanks guys I needed a coffee maker and such" Ben laughs I smile. I hear light snores coming from Cates "ill take her up" I mumble.

I woke up at 7am feeling quite happy all the presents were laid out under the tree. I was the first one awake besides mum "always the early riser on holidays. Merry Christmas Luke" she hugs me"merry Christmas mum" I smile I got a text from Cates.

Catekins: i need you to do me a favor...okay two favors

Me: depends on what you need

Catekins: one I need you to brush my teeth and hair for me then I need tampons and some coffee.

Me: thats like 4 things you said two 😔

Catekins: will you do it or not

Me:fine *sighs*

I head upstairs"I cant believe you sometimes" I mutter"love you too now brush" Cates demands. "Merry Christmas sexy wife" I kiss her "merry Christmas handsome HubbIe" Cates told me. "Merry Christmas baby daddy loves you so much" I kiss her stomach a lot. I leave to go get Cates things when I got back breakfast was ready. "Hey Cates are you wanting to hit the slopes after we open presents" Jack asks" hmm maybe but im feeling kinda icky I think I just wanna be cuddled. Im in a pretty cuddly mood"Cates replies"ugh thats not my job luke shes all yours for the day" he jokes. 

Mum and dad got Cates and I tickets for a babymoon later on in her pregnancy. Ben got us a lot of really cute onzies Cates got me a ton of signed band merch from all my favorite bands as well as a new phone. She freaked out at what i got her for christmas it was a charm bracelet with a charm from everyplace weve ever been and some custon made ones from dates. I know im the best husband in the world and the coolest at that matter fuck yeah im punk rock. " Jack lets hit those slopes now" ben said dad went with them and mum went up to take a nap. 

"Luke you dont have to stay in with me you know you could go outside and snowboard more I know how much you love it" Cates told me."I know but im okay with you" I smile"thank you I love you so much lukeyboo" I kiss her for a few minutes."I cant wait til were parents im so excited youre gonna be such a good daddy" she said. "Yeah you think so" I ask" hell yeah" she smirks.
