Its my baby's first birthday today ash and I have planned out everything its going to be perfect. Except for one thing luke Robert hemmings he showed up an hour early to help set up ash and I both had choice words to say to him. He's so nervous and afraid to confront cates I told him not at Carmen's birthday party wait til tomorrow. Ash and luke are hanging up the sign cates took Carmen to get a birthday outfit"look whose all pretty for her birthday" cates exclaims.

Carmen is wearing a light purple puffy dress"awww my little baby so adorable" I comment giving her kisses. "I'm gonna take her to show ash" she giggles so does Carmen"cates fair warning luke showed up to help he's outback with ash" I warn she purses. "Well okay thanks but nothings gonna stop me from giving my niece the best birthday ever"cates coos. I follow her outside"oh my god my little princess looks so adorable and in purple. They grow up so fast" ash cries literally he cried"dada UNC wookeee" Carmen exclaims. Ash takes her and gives her tons of kisses luke can't stop staring at cates.

"Cates can you do me a favor" I ask"sure what do you need" she smiles" can you get all the table decorations" "yeah sure I'll be right back" she walks away. Luke continues to watch her"luke" I sigh"I'm sorry but this past week has killed me I miss her so fucking much" he whines"hey no swearing around my daughter" ash scolds giggling. Cates comes back with the decorations we set up the table"ugh hes so annoying he hasn't taken his eyes of me" cates mutters.

"I know its kinda cute though" I comment we both giggle we see calum and Sadie at the side gate"come on through" I call. "LUKEYBOO" calum exclaims "CALPAL" luke shouts they hug tightly"man I've missed you so much" calum said. "I've missed you too" luke smiles I glance over at cates"hey you okay" I ask her"yeah I'm fine" she smiles"why don't we set up stuff on the inside. Calum and Sades can finish up here" I suggest"yeah sounds good" cates replies we go inside. "Michael and angel will probably be late" she states"yeah they always are" I roll my eyes.

Its been 2 hours everyone's arrived now and were all having lunch for the most part the days been about Carmen. "I just wanna say thank you to all of you for all your help with Carmen Lucy and I really appreciate it  thanks for helping us set up today here's to carmen" ash says giggling. We all clink our glasses I kiss ash's cheek"I love you" I whisper"I love you more Mrs Irwin" he kisses my forehead. "Cates can you go get Carmen from her nap" ash asks"yeah no problem" she replies chipper"now its present time and cake time" I tell everyone.

"Michael and angel you guys get the gifts calum and Sadie bring out the cake luke your helping Lucy with the dishes and cates and I will work on cleaning" ash orders. We all get to our jobs"is she mad at me Lucy" luke asks I shoot him a look"drop it no drama this is about Carmen" I say"okay I'm sorry" he mutters. We continue to wash the dishes luke sings while we work its so annoying ugh how can cates put up with him. "Hey guys everything's all ready for us to start with the presents. Ash sent me in to get you guys" cates says.

Luke and I head out to join the others"okay Carmen princess whose gift do you want first" ash asks her giggling. Carmen laughs"wooks an cats" she says"I know you're gonna love it" cates coos. Carmen tries to tear open the present"dada" she cries"its okay I'll help you" ash kisses her"Carmen look its a scrap book from you first year of being alive awww. This is adorable thanks guys" ash wipes away some tears.

"Cal" carmen giggles" you want uncle calum and aunts Sadie's present good choice" ash giggles"there so similar its amazing" luke states in awe. Ash blushes calum and Sades got her books and puzzles. Michael and angel got her tons of clothes and her first game my parents got her a cute charm bracelet and ash's parents got her a matching charm necklace. So adorable and grateful"well thank you for all the gifts I think well wait on the cake for a bit. I don't want her ruining this dress" ash laughs taking carmen away he kisses me a couple times though.

Cates seriously looks like she's gonna breakdown at anytime"Lucy I'll be back in a few. Something in the lunch didn't sit well with me" cates told me she was totatly lying"okay just hurry" I sigh. "Nice fucking going" michael glares at luke "guys please you all promised no drama on Carmen's birthday" I scold. "Fine" he sighs luke remains silent cates and ash return at the same time"woah whats with all the weird tension" ash jokes. "Its fine ash michael just almost went off on luke" I whisper"cates you okay you've been crying" angel notes.

"Yeah I'm fine let's just eat the cake" she replies"happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear carmen happy birthday to you" we sing. "Okay princess blow out the candle" ash encourages I was filming carmen gently blows we all laugh"Dada " she looks at ash"you want me to help you" he chuckles. Carmen nodes and giggles they blow out the candle together it was adorable cates places a piece of cake in front of carmen. Ash kneels down beside carmen who has cake all over her hands.

Everyone was laughing and smiling at how cute it was carmen puts some on top of her head. "My little chocolate monster" ash kisses her everywhere" awww I hope you do this on your birthday" cates tells her stomach. Ash and I give carmen a bath to clean her up"well today's been a dream its gone by just like how we planned" I smile"yeah it has" ash replies. "Alright my little girl you're all cleaned up now so daddy's going to read and sing to you then you're gonna go to sleep" ash explains. "Night night carmen mummy loves you so so much" I kiss her face a bunch.

I go back outside to find calum and michael working on a fire cates and luke were taking down all the decorations. Neither one of them speaking I go over to help them"where's ash" cates asks"putting carmen to bed so us adults can have some fun" I say. "Drinking ugh Lucy you know I can't" she whines"didn't seem to stop you before" luke Sasses cates huffs and leaves to sit by Sades. "Luke you just talked to her I mean it was sass but still" I smile"I know its time" he smiles.

"Alright Carmen's asleep I've got the monitar let's get drunk" ash giggles picking me up."ash put me down" I laugh"okay" he sets me on his lap i cuddle him close. "My Lucy so pretty" he mumbles kissing my neck I just giggle and blush the perfect end to a perfect day. "Luke what have you been up too" ash asks"uhhhh well ermm I've been catching up with my brothers we've had tons of fun. I've done a lot of crying and I saw my mum she helped me a lot" he sighs smiling at cates.
