welp weve been back in Aussie for 2 days. Michael's officially been promoted to crutches also its Christmas season baby. Im sooooooooo hyped also theres only one more day left in November then its December. Im so stoked for Carmens first Christmas shes gonna walk soon i know it she can stand up. Shes such a tease shell stand up and look at me so ill get my recorder started and then shell fall. What a difficult child i thought giggling i also think she might talk soon i hope her first word is Dada.

"Lucy can you help me get the Christmas decorations" i call running down the stairs laughing. "Ash its not even December" she whines" please" i shout giggling. I hear footsteps coming down"fine only because of that giggle" she smiles. I hug her real tight"you Mrs Irwin are the best" i kiss her cheek a ton. I haul up the big containers shes got all the little stuff"Carmen my little princess" i coo picking her up."so precious were gonna decorate for Christmas " i tell her excited i kiss her face all over before setting her down.

Oh the joys of being a father i put on some Christmas music Lucy takes care of hanging stuff up i start on the tree. "You know i really cant stay baby its cold outside ive got to go away baby its cold outside" i sing along. Lucy smiles at me in this moment life is  good really good. Its was perfect even once i got the tree set up i finished helping Lucy. It was looking christmasy with wreaths placed signs in the windows. Banners hung and lights as well i set up the outside decorations i blew up our inflatables and placed the reindeer.

I turned on the lights we put on the shrubs and roof last year next Lucy and i started decorating the tree. I spun her into me with tinsel and kissed her with so much passion and love."ash what was that for" she blushes"for being you i love you" "i love you too ash" she kisses me again. The lights went next "time for the ornaments" Lucy cheers i giggle "Carmen princess what ornaments shall we use" i giggle. She laughs and babbles i start with my favorite the one of Lucy and i on our first Christmas together 2012.

"Weve come so far since the couple in that picture" Lucy marvels. "I know we have and i wouldn't trade it for the world Lucy these past years have been the greatest. Look at us we have a baby and were married ive been playing sold out tours for the past 2 years. Its amazing" i cry"ash your adorable" Lucy shakes her head. Carmen chose a little Starbucks cup one i help her hang it i look at Carmen and hug her tight"my princess" i kiss her cheek.

"Dada" a soft voice says followed by a giggle"oh my god ash did she just" Lucy starts"yes Lucy she said her first word" i finished. "My little girl growing up" Lucy said stealing her from me"Dada" Carmen says again pointing to me. I cried again happy tears"can you say mumma" Lucy encourages"Dada" she claps her hands and giggles. "Your daddy's princess huh" Lucy tickles her before placing Carmen in her play pen. "Alright Mr sensitive lets get back to decorating" luc chuckles wiping my tears we kiss a few times.

"Its okay ash" she comforts hugging me"i know im just so happy i mean i never knew my father. So the fact that my child said Dada is everything i dont want to know my dad either" i state. Once we finish with the ornaments i get Carmen out and place her on my shoulders so she can do the star. I help her of course"awwww adorbs so going on twitter" luc gushes i kiss her forehead.

It was about 1pm "ill go put Carmen down for a nap you make lunch" Lucy orders. I kiss carmens cheek and lucys lips i decide on spaghetti and meatballs. I got out all the ingredients and made the meatballs. Lucy came back down ugh stupid water and taking forever to boil i thought blue Christmas came on. "Dance with me" i giggle holding my hand out"with you always" Lucy smiles "ill be so blue thinking of you" i sing looking into her eyes. "Holy shit ash" she breaths"what "i laugh"you just have a special effect on me" she winks. I press my lips to hers for a while.

I pull back when i hear the water boil"i have other duties to the kitchen" i say and run off giggling Lucy starts laughing as well. I put the noodles in and the meatballs in"okay im back now give me more kisses" i pull Lucy into me kissing her again. "You are so beautiful Lucy" i mumble on her lips"thanks your quite the hottie yourself" she breathes. I carry her to the couch and lay her down removing my shirt"ash your making lunch" she whispers"i dont have to check the noodles for 20 minutes plenty of time".

I take off lucys shirt i start leaving her neck kisses an maybe a couple hickys. "Wow ash you weren't kidding 20 minutes was plenty of time" Lucy said i laugh and cuddle her closer. "My Lucy my beautiful Lucy" i kiss her cheek"you my ash" she said i managed to put my boxers and pants back on. Someone stole my shirt and wont give it back the timer went off "lunch is served" i hand Lucy a plate. "Im so glad you can cook youre such a good cook" Lucy kisses my cheek i blush an giggle.

I have the greatest gift in the world planned for Lucy shes gonna love it. Carmens getting so spoiled this Christmas shes already spoiled when Lucy finishes her plate we go back to cuddling. Were not really the most cuddly couple i mean i love me some cuddles but at the same time i dont need them like calum or luke do. Today im just in a cuddly mood i put my arms around Lucy and pull her as close as possible. So peaceful i could fall asleep i thought"Lucy" i whisper"luc" i say then i hear light snores.

Well if shes sleeping im sleeping too i wake up to carmens crying"its ok go back to sleep luc ill get her" i stretch out. I kiss lucys forehead and get Carmen"Dada" she stops crying and starts laughing. I laugh with her"Carmen have a nice nap daddy sure did" i smile i change her diaper and take her downstairs. I give her an afternoon snack of cheerios since she can eat real food now. We still give her bottles in the morning and night though. carmens been sleeping most of the night has been since she turned 6 months.

I read Carmen a few stories and we play some games til Lucy wakes up"i want mumma and baby time" she says"okay ill just be drumming" i giggle kissing Lucy a couple times. I go down to the basement where ive got a drum kit set up. I play shes kinda hott vapor out of my limit heartbreak girl disconnected jet black heart outer space and safety pin. I worked up quite the sweat"oh we got a sweaty ash down here mmm sweaty ash is sexy ash" luc said.

I blush a lot Lucy comes over and sits on me"i love hearing you drum its so relaxing i love watching you drum. You get so passionate about it and i love seeing all the faces you make and how happy you look. Sweaty shirtless ash is a huge bonus" Lucy gushes tracing my abs i giggled."aw shucks thanks luc" i kiss her cheek"i forget all the reasons why the fans love me are also the reasons you love me" i tell her. "Oh yeah all the things the fans get feels over are turn ons for me" luc mumbles.

"Are you telling me you want me"i giggle"maybe " she raises her brows."how about tonight we have an extended version of this afternoon" i promise kissing her lips. "Oh im so there" lucky smirks i carry her back upstairs and then i shower. For dinner i made chicken and broccoli lots of broccoli Lucy and i put Carmen to bed. I sung jingle bell rock to her tonight Lucy already has her clothes off"im waiting ash" she sighs i climb in and attack her with kisses.
