"Did Jack really walk in?" Rachel laughs, and I laugh a small laugh.

"Yes, he did, it was so embarrassing," I gripe, and she laughs again.

"That's priceless. So, did you really feel Michael's little buddy?" She teases, elbowing me from her side of the couch. My cheeks redden immediately.

"I can't believe you just asked that!" I exclaim, clutching my stomach as I laugh. We were at Rachel's, having a girl's day in.

"Well, did you?" Rachel trails on, and I shake my head.

"I'm not answering that!" I declare.

"Ugh fine, you suck."

"And you swallow," I answer, getting off of the couch and going into the apartment kitchen.

"So Calum's showing feelings," She says, following me and sitting at one of the stools that face the counter. I scrunch up my eyebrows.

"What?" I question, pouring myself a glass of orange juice.

"He was protective when you were alone with Michael, he kissed your cheek. Come on, Ands, you can't be that dense. The boy obviously has feelings for you." Rachel states, matter of factly. I simply shake my head.

"Cal's always protective, and he's kissed my cheek a number of other times. What about you and that Riley boy?" I decide to change the subject. She grins before answering, and I know she has good news.

"We have a date at five tomorrow." Is her reply, and I cheer. It was good that she was finally dating again.

"That's really great!" I exclaim, taking a drink of my orange juice. I look down at my phone to see three unread messages. One from Calum, and two from Elliot. I decide to reply to Calum first.

Cal Pal : we should hang out today

Me : window procedure later tonight? bring Teen Wolf

Cal Pal : see you then (:

After that, I look at the texts from Elliot to learn that the she witch would be gone for the next few nights on a business trip. Rachel looks over at me when I sigh of relief.

"Is the demon gone for a while?" She guesses, and I nod. "Sweet. Come help me decide on an outfit," Rachel says. We spend the next thirty minutes going back and forth between outfits, but she finally decides on a pair of dark skinny jeans with a baby pink blouse, paired with a grey cardigan and a pair of grey boots.

"Damn," I compliment as she walks out of the bathroom. Rachel sends a playful wink my way, and it causes us both to burst out into laughter.

"Come on kid, let's get you home. You have a date with Calum," The brunette sings, and I roll my eyes as she puts on a scarf. "Oh come on, you guys are gonna get married." She jokes, elbowing me.

"I think Rachel Donohue makes a great name," I tease back, using Riley's last name. Her pale skin turns pink in reply, and I laugh and raise my eyebrows.

"Do you wanna walk home, Tate?" Rachel jokes, pursing her lips. I simply roll my eyes and follow her out to her car.

Michael's waiting on my front porch when Rachel pulls up.

"Oh look, it's loverboy," Rachel teases, meanwhile I furrow my brows in confusion. It was the beginning of November, why was he just sitting outside?

"I'll see you later, Rae, don't blow the date," I joke as I get out of the car. Rachel drives away, and soon it's just Michael and I.

"Hey," I greet, coming up the walkway to unlock the front door. "Why are you just sitting here?"
