RAEJIN'S POV
The news wasn't much help to us. It cut out quickly after delivering the skeptical notification.
"Attention! Anyone living in the country of South Korea, or anyone around the country for that matter, you are in danger."
Yoongi looked at me, intrigued by the report.
"An odd, severe disease has been released from the Disease Control Center in the town of Seoul and is spreading rapidly. Many have been infected already, and are infecting more. This peculiar disease causes anyone with large, open wounds to die nearly immediately, then restart their bodies as ravenous killers who crave live human flesh. In other words, zombies."
My brother turned to me, his eyes going wide in excitement. "This is awesome! I wonder who all they got in on this."
"What do you mean, Oppa?" I questioned his odd reaction to what seems to be an apocalypse.
"You don't actually think this is real, do you?" He asked, laughing, "This has got to be some government prank."
We turned back to the television, only to witness the news reporter lady being mauled by a grey skinned, white eyed, dirty, undead appearing monster. A squirt of blood shot onto the camera before the screen cut to a message:
"EVACUATE THE COUNTRY. PUT DOWN THE UNDEAD. AIM FOR THE BRAIN."
These words only lasted about ten seconds before the screen turned black. A siren, which sounded exactly like the city fire alarm at the firehouse, began to screech throughout the area, I assumed all of Seoul.
"Yoongi Oppa, I really don't think they're joking." I suggested the possibility of this apocalypse thing being real. If it was, I had a bit of knowledge of how to survive.
Yoongi and I had joked around often of this very catastrophic event happening. The two of us were obsessed with watching movies and shows about such a world issue happening to us. We had seen the entire series of The Walking Dead many times, which we bought in the local Wal-Mart with Korean subtitles. When Yoongi told me of the show, and how there would be Korean subtitles, I didn't believe him.
The Walking Dead was basically a preparation for this very day. But then again, how do I know it'll be the same as the show?
"Chill, I'll call Namjoon. He'll tell you that this is just a prank."
Yoongi used to live with these 6 boys. After our mother died, he got away from the memories by moving in with his idiot friends. He told me plenty about this girl who had moved in and was dating his one friend, Jimin. She had apparently left for college, so Yoongi moved back home with me and our father, only weeks ago.
His friend picked up the phone. "Hyung?"
"Did you see the news?"
Namjoon responded instantly, "Yea, it's freaky."
"Don't tell me, you believe it too?"
"I think this is real. Taehyung's acting weird."
Yoongi snorted, "Doesn't he always?"
"I'm serious. He broke the vase earlier, and now he's turning this grey color and he's walking weird."
"Oppa, you should get out before Taehyung Oppa attacks you or something." I warned. Grey skin and weird walking was exactly what the creature on the news looked like.
"For the last time, this isn't real." Yoongi grumbled, "Put Jimin on the phone. He'll listen."
"He's trying to contact Jikyo right now, and Jungkook is with the baby. Hoseok's crying."
