HOSHI'S POV
I didn't want to think about what I did. I hated myself the second it happened and yet my mind was forcing me to reminisce in the minutes before now. I killed my girlfriend. We didn't stick around long enough to figure out what happened, and I tried to shoot her somewhere that was survivable, but she fell and she didn't sit up or say anything. I had no hopes of her living, and though it seemed cruel for me to say so, I was sure she was dead.
We were running down the street, following some guys we didn't know. There were five of them, and right after I shot Raejin, the room had filled up with smoke. None of us could see where we were going but we could see who was in front of us and that was all that mattered. Those five guys had thrown a smoke bomb into the room, shot off some machine guns, and told us all to follow them out. It didn't seem like we could do much else, so we followed. And here we were, running down the street to the exit of the 'safe haven'. They helped us over the wall through some secret exit, then we all kept running further.
To sum it up, I shot Raejin, then a bunch of people came in and saved us. Wonwoo wasn't with us, or that Jaewon guy that seemed a little weird to me. I couldn't tell what side he was on. Then again, who knew what side Wonwoo was on?
After about 5 minutes of nonstop running, we were in the middle of a road, behind a flipped car. We finally had a moment to catch our breath and comprehend what happened.
"Who got shot in there?" One of the random men asked. This one had dark red hair which was split in the middle. "I mean, what was that gun shot before we went in there?"
"I'd like to know who the hell you guys are before we tell you anything." Vernon fired back, no thought to it. "Why did you rescue us? I'm grateful, but who are you?"
"Hey, look." Soyeon pointed at one of them, who had blonde hair. "This one looks like Jihoon."
Upon further inspection, we all agreed. The blonde out of the group of six looked rather similar to Jihoon. He had a visible scar on his forehead like he hit. Jihoon even nodded and stared in surprise. He looked around to see who were looking at, and I saw another scar on the back of his head. I inspected even more and fould one on his left shoulder, near his heart.
"I'm assuming by now you've heard of the Civilization?" The red haired one spoke once more. Seeing as we all still looked confused, he continued. "Well, then let's start with some names. I'm Park Jimin."
They went around and introduced themselves. The blonde one who resembled Jihoon a little was Yoongi, then there was a black-haired one named Jungkook, then Seokjin, who was called Jin for short, and the last one was Hoseok, who told us he used to be called J-Hope but no longer went by that.
"We had a sixth guy with us," Jin told us, "Namjoon didn't follow us out, though. And there was a seventh, but-"
"Taehyung died near the beginning of this. No need to go into details." Hoseok cut him off, glaring. His eyes looked red, and that made me assume Taehyung and Hoseok were close.
"Hoseok and Taehyung were together." Jungkook whispered to our group, though it was clear Hoseok heard him anyway.
"Enough about my former love life, we need to get going." Hoseok finished up the topic.
"And where exactly are we going?" Seungcheol asked, butting in for more information.
"Seungcheol, please calm down. We all have to trust each other if we're gonna find our way back." Jimin stuck a hand out as a gesture of peace. It didn't work instantly.
"How do you know his name?" Yunmi questioned, a little scared. She, as well as the other two girls, looked shaken up, probably by what had happened to them when they were kidnapped. I'm sure they weren't let off easy. And Raejin, I couldn't imagine what else that bastard did to him.
