YUNMI'S POV

After what seemed like an endless trip, we finally got back to the motel. There were more vehicles than usual parked in the parking lot, and it took me a second to remember what was going on. We were leaving.

I couldn't even think about leaving the motel. It hurt a lot when we left the farm, and it was going to hurt even more because we were at the motel much longer than we were at the farm. I couldn't believe Hyunjoon had driven us from another safe place.

Then again, the Civilization was the actual safe haven, so I couldn't complain. We were finally going to be around other people. I was going to miss it just being our little group, though.

We parked the vans next to the other two vans. There were also our three trucks, so we were going to have much more space while traveling.

As soon as we all got out of the vans, Jun rushed up to us and got surrounded and suffocated in a giant group hug. He had tears running down his face, and he was bawling audibly, showing that he was worried for us. Then the two kids ran forward and hugged us around our legs. Mijeong and Jeongsoo looked rather clueless and confused about what was going on.

"Junnie, why are you crying?" Jeongsoo asked, pulling on Jun's hoodie sleeve, squinting his eyes with concern.

Jun didn't respond. He stared at all of our faces, clearly counting the number. No one said anything, but Seungcheol and I shared a look. Jun was going to find out that we lost two members. We had just stopped talking about it and it was about to be brought up again. I couldn't even imagine how Mijeong would feel about Wonwoo being gone. On top of that, Raejin was like a mother to the kids. They had already lost Gyeongha.

"Guys, we're two people short." Jun pointed out, scanning us another time like he didn't believe it. "Raejin, Wonwoo... Where are they?"

Still, we had nothing we could say. There was nothing we could possibly say to make what happened alright. Jun continued to cry, this time for a different reason.

"What happened to them?" Mijeong asked, crossing her arms like she was demanding an answer. "Where did they go?"

As a group, we turned our attention to Hoshi, then Vernon. It was one of them who needed to explain, Hoshi being their father figure and Vernon being the leader.

Of course, Vernon had a bigger backbone than Hoshi did right now, and sighed before kneeling down to their height, "Well, we're not sure about Wonwoo completely, but Raejin is gone."

"She died?" Mijeong clarified, shocked instantly. "W-wha..."

"She died to protect the rest of us." Hoshi added from where he stood, staring at the ground. The tears were clear in his eyes as well. "I'm sure she loved you two, and all of us."

The kids, though they probably didn't fully grasp what was going on, both started to cry a little, of course not as hard as Jun. I never saw anyone cry as hard as Jun other than Hoshi that time we pranked him and pretended Raejin died. Oh, not good.

"W-who are they?" Jeongsoo questioned, pointing at the 5 boys who helped us get this far.

Vernon was going to answer, but Jimin came forward to introduce himself. "I'm Jimin, and these are some of my friends, Yoongi, Jin, Jungkook, and Hoseok."

"Why are you here?" Mijeong asked hastily, pouting.

"We helped everyone escape." Jin told her, giving a half of a smile.

She still didn't seem to like them, continuing her questions and accusations. "You didn't save everyone. Wonwoo and Raejin didn't escape. You didn't help them!"
