October 5th, 2016. A day to remember forever.

CHOAH'S POV

My feet were growing tired, and we hadn't even been walking that long. I felt pings of concern and fear, wondering if this was such a good idea. I also felt some sort of relief, though. I knew the other members were worried about where we were, and if we didn't arrive within a day or so, they'd go looking for us.

We were walking on the road, trying to find a car shop somewhere in this god forsaken town. The road seemed unusually bared, especially at our desperate time of need. I wanted to go to sleep, but that wasn't an option until we reached the motel.

"Of course, the road our tire decides to pop on has no cars or tire shops in sight for miles." I grumbled, more irritated than necessary.

We were about half way to the motel of magic, and one of the back tires popped. It likely had to do with when the Hellseeker leader shot at our vehicle.

You know, I shouldn't complain. At least we made it out of there.

"I'm sure there's something nearby."  Jun reassured, "If only we had DK. He's good with cars."

So there was me, Minghao, Jun, and Jeonghan. Jun had done most of the positive talking the whole ride, and was currently our little group's spirit. Jeonghan was abnormally quiet and upset, and I understood why. Then Minghao, he just walked with me, holding my hand in silence.

"DK has done so much with cars that we definitely wouldn't have been able to do without him." Jeonghan spoke for the first time since we left the farm, "He hotwired the truck at Starbucks that resulted in us getting out of Seoul in the first place and finding Choah, Chan, and everyone from that point on really. He also managed to break a car windshield to rescue Seungkwan, and I'm sure there's more."

"He taught us how to siphon gas too." I mentioned.

"He's mystical. I swear." Jun laughed, a somewhat pitiful tone in it. I felt like we were talking about someone dead.

I remembered the day we found Jun, Seungcheol, Wonwoo, Seungkwan, and the three from the farm. Raejin had sent DK with me to go check out the fire in the woods that led us to Wonwoo. Wonwoo was so quiet then.

I decided to continue walking in silence. I had a strong fear, more horrifying than the rotters, or anything we had faced so far. It wasn't anything to be afraid of, but still, I was worried to my core about it.

I needed to say something about it soon. At least to Minghao. It was his idea in the first place, and he was also the father. It would be rude to keep him in the dark.

"So... How are you guys doing?" Jun kept talking, trying to avoid awkward silence, "Everyone okay?"

"We're fine, Jun. Thanks for asking." Minghao's were nothing short of bored and tired. I was the same way. I just wanted this to be over.

Just as Jun had been working against, the silence came back. Each of us was worried about something, even if it wasn't obvious. I was worried about those who we left behind. We all were. Minghao was worried about me, it seemed. I wasn't as talkative or lively as usual. Jeonghan, well he was probably worried about his friend, who he seemed to have known longer than Minghao and I knew each other. And Jun, there wasn't an obvious answer, but I assumed he was worried about Jeongsoo.
