Chapter 8
I wake up to the sound of Celia's voice in my ear.
"Ugh. Go away." I whine.
"No. Jai get up we have to go NOW!" She says. I struggle to see what the time is on my bed side clock.
"5AM!" I exclaim.
"Calm down. I want to show you something." She throws a jacket at me that lands on my head.
"Put some clothes on a meet me downstairs." She throws more clothes at me.
I put on my black skinny jeans, my white t-shirt and my jacket. I walk downstairs and find Celia at the front door.
"What are we doing?" I say.
"You'll see." She teases. We walk down to the beach where the sun is rising.
"Have you ever seen this before?" She asks.
"I have seen the sunrise but not as beautiful as this not as beautiful as you." I say. She 'awes' and hugs me.
"Well." She says.
"It's freezing." I say.
"I wanted to tell you something." She says. What is it? Is she dumping me? I look at her with intense eyes.
"I am going to London tomorrow." She says.
"How long for?" I says.
"A few weeks. My mother is in hospital , she is terribly sick and my father wants me to look after my brother for a bit." She finally looks at me.
"I don't want to go but my mother could die and I want to see her before he does." She continues.
"It's okay. I won't see you for a while anyways, I am going to the live shows." She has been waiting for the news but I wouldn't tell her because it was a secrete.
"Awh. Congrats." She hugs me again. We walk home hand-in-hand, talking about the live shows and Celia's London trip but not her mother, I don't want to upset her. We get home at six and mum has prepared cereal for us.
"Hey guys." She says with a huge smile.
"What are you smiling at?" I ask.
"Nothing. You look grown up thats all." I look at her confused but mainly scared. Why she saying his? We sit down and start to eat. We talk about the live shows and Celia's London adventure again.
"So I am going to have a shower." I walk upstairs and into the shower.

I pack my bags for tomorrow and Celia also packs her bags.
