A/N Alright this is pretty much a filler chapter. Just thought I needed to update. Next chapter will be in David's POV :) Please Vote/Comment/Share

As we walked back to the house, David was not just Ben's heat source, but mine as well. I held on to his arm as he carried Ben. When we opened the door, we were greeted by warmth. It was around seven which meant dinner. I didn't know whether I should wake Ben or let him sleep. David beat me to the decision as he carefully shook Ben awake.

He grunted and squirmed around while his brow furrowed. He let out an annoying whine indicating us that we shouldn't try to wake him up.

"Do you have a room that he can sleep in?"

David gave me an incredulous look as if to say, 'really?'

"Well I know you have extra rooms. But, I meant something close to one of our rooms. When he wakes up he might be scared."

"I think I have a room in mind."

David led me to a room a couple of doors down mine. It had two full size beds with warm looking sheets on them. The room itself was about the same size as mine. The walls were a sea foam green and there was a wall-to-wall beige carpet. There was a door for a bathroom, closet, a child's desk, a toy chest, and a couch.

"I never knew you had a children's room."

"Well we've got a lot of rooms," he said a little too quickly.

"Alrighty then."

He placed Ben on one of the beds and said, "I'm gonna go take a quick shower and change. What do you want for dinner?"

"Anything's fine. I just want to put on my PJ's and relax a little bit. It's been a long day."

"Alright."

I watched David leave the room and close the door behind him. Once he was gone I took a look at Ben. He seemed so peaceful while sleeping. I silently prayed that we would find his brother. I can't imagine how scared he must feel.

I took off his wet coat, shoes, and hat. He wore a sweater and black snow pants underneath that were wet with snow as well. He must've somehow gotten snow beneath his jacket when he was out there. Maybe he fell or had a snowball fight. Who knows? What I did know was that he was going to get sick if he didn't change out of his clothes. I walked through the closet and luckily found some extra little kid clothes. The closet was mostly bare except for a few outfits. I picked out the warmest looking shirt, some blue sweatpants, and wool socks.

How am I going to change him? I should really wake him up.

I softly shook him awaked. Surprisingly, he didn't act crabby. He looked frightened more than anything.

"Where am I?" He asked in such a small voice.

"Remember me? We found you in the woods and you were looking for your brother. It got dark so we had to bring you to our home."

He nodded his head and looked a little less scared. I gave him a warm smile to soothe the rest of his nerves.

"I'm cold."

"That's because your clothes are soaked. I got you some warm clothes that you can change in. Here."

I handed him the outfit I picked out.

"Can you help me?"

"Of course. Let's start with your snow pants. Those seem to be covered in snow."

When he got out of the bed, I unbuckled his snow pants and he shimmied them off. Luckily the pants he wore under weren't wet.

"Looks like we don't need to change your pants. Now for your sweater."
