Crush (Luke)

Everyone knew that the Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds of Summer had a crush on the up coming singer, y/n y/l/n. He didn't particularly hide it well considering he spoke about her a lot but that was only to his band mates. Of course fans had their speculations but he never confirmed anything.

All four boys were sitting in their hotel room when y/n tweeted something about her tour and Luke's face instantly lit up and a small smile began to grow. Even though the boys were in the middle of a conversation, that Luke was involved in, they knew the topic of which pizza topping was better would not put that kind of smile on his face.
"What's she done this time?", Michael asked.
"Yeah is it a 'boobs' selfie?", Calum smirked and Michael carried on, "-or ass?"
Ashton joined in with a high pitched and mocking tone, "Or did she tweet a beautifully written confession of her love of music complete with smiley faces and all!", grinning condescendingly at Luke who's face was now an angry shade of red.
"Shut up, assholes! She tweeted that she's coming here for the next leg of her tour really soon! Damn, I wish I could meet her."
Luke's face softened as he imagined how wonderful it would be to be in the heavenly presence of y/n y/l/n.
"Stop being a pussy and tweet her back then.", Michael abruptly suggested as he stuffed yet another slice of greasy pizza into his mouth.

Luke grinned to himself hoping that maybe, just maybe, she would reply to him.

Michael suddenly burst out laughing almost knocking over the bottle of beer sitting on the table. Luke already knew what was coming, the ridicule of his apparently pathetic attempt to get y/n's attention.
"Are you kidding me?! What are you 10 years old?!", he boomed now starting to choke and splutter on his own laughter. Luke scowled at him, eyes boring into the side of his head while the other boys saw the tweet too. Calum was now laughing too but Ashton, being a little more mature, adopted a look of empathy and placed a hand on Luke's shoulder.
"You know, it's okay. With all those fans replying too I doubt she'll even see your tweet.", Ashton looked apologetically from Luke's face to his phone clearly displaying the tweet.
"What the fuck is wrong with my damn tweet?! I was being flirty! I had the winky face and everything?!"

"WAIT! She just tweeted me!!!" Luke shouted at his excitement.

"OMG! HA! She tweeted me and said here's hoping. See my tweet was cool. You motherfuckers better stop teasing me cause look who got a tweet back! See, the winky face does wonders!" He shouted from the couch as he could finally defend himself against Michael and Calum as they teased him.
"Yeah, yeah, okay sit down lover boy." Michael said bluntly earning a giggle from Calum. All jokes aside, Luke had finally gotten you to at least notice him and that was enough - for now anyway.

Later that week the boys of 5 seconds of summer had an interview. Just the standard 10 minutes of questions and exaggerated laughter to entertain the fans. They strolled casually into the studio and were greeted with the usual plastered on smiles and sat down on the set up leather couch. There were four microphones ready to go with the flick of a switch which was slightly out of the ordinary. Most interviews were done by sharing two mics, or sometimes even one, between the four of them.
They each took a microphone and watched as a big flashy sign in the corner turned green and that's it, they were recording.

"Hi boys! In the studio today we have Luke, Calum, Ashton and Michael also known as 5 Seconds of Summer!", the interviewer says into the microphone as the boys shout in the background.

"Hello", Ashton says in his strong deep accent
"So how are you boys?"
"We are really good. We've not long finished our tour and we are just chilling and getting some music written for the new album. Everything's good.", Calum says proudly.
"Well it does sound like it. Also you guys have a new song out called Girls Talk Boys and it's been smashing the charts. A lot of fans have sent in requests to play it so that will be the next song on!"
"Awesome." They all say in unison.
"So, we have been on Twitter and we've been sent in questions and just random things from fans so let's see."
As they go through questions they reply with honest answers and answer away, knowing this will please whatever fan sent the question in.
"So we only a have a few minutes left with you guys but I have a quick game for you all so. It's called Kiss, Marry, Kill. Are you guys aware of the game?"
"Well, we've heard of it but we've never played it so it seems interesting but I don't like the idea of killing anyone so." Ashton says with a giggle whilst Michael agrees.
"Okay so we'll play Kiss, Marry, Avoid. We'll keep it PG.", and that earns a hearty laugh from Ashton.
"We couldn't help ourselves so we've added the rule that you must answer within 5 seconds"
"Oh, the good old 5 second rule", Michael exclaims loudly.
"Okay! Calum! Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lawrence or Jennifer Anniston?"
"Oh I'd have to say.... Well I'm a big fan of the Jennifer's", Calum began, earning a laugh from everyone. "But I think I'll say, kiss J-Law, that's what they call her, right? Marry Jennifer Anniston."
"Ooooo," the interviewer said, avoiding Miss Grande? Well now, up next we have the wonderful Luke! Selena Gomez, Mila Kunis or Y/n Y/l/n?"
