[A/N] I found out that most of my angst stories involving deaths are the Reader's death. I also find that writing about the characters of Haikyuu dying are heartbreaking. Let this be the first and last time I'm doing this. Peace out.

The one (F/n) recalled the most about Yaku was...
His heart.
Every time she saw him, he had a cheerful grin waiting for her. His hands were never empty, filled with gifts and candies. Sometimes, he had Lev carry some of them for him.
She loved him. Visits were common and he was always there. The hospital was never dull when he was around. There were always smiles and laughter.
But all masks had to break at some point.
All good things had to end at some time.
The wind breeze blew gently across the plains as (F/n) knelt in front of the beautifully engraved stone. Her eyes shut, frightened of the words that spelled in front of her. Slowly, she slid them open to properly registered the words on the tombstone that was meant for her.
"Ohayo, Mori-chan," the whisper was lost among the wind that accompanied her. It was a beautiful day, a perfect day for a beautiful boy. (F/n) smiled as she placed some flowers, teddy bears and chocolates on the ground. Arranging it neatly, she gave a satisfied sigh.
"No worries, Mori-chan. I'm taking really good care of it. Thank you for giving me a second chance," she murmured, gentle as always as she placed a soft kiss on the stone. The wind blew once more in appreciation as she placed a hand on the left side of her chest.
His heart beat soothingly in her chest. "Your heart's beating. I'll make sure of that," she said reassuringly. "The boy's team accepted me as their libero. I'm happy. I'm acing our class, just like I promised..."
There was a short pause. "Thank you for your heart. I love you, Mori-chan..."
