Everyday professor McGonagall gave the students waltz lessons, after that they were busy in the libraries with their books. It has been three days straight that Gwen missed professor Sybil classes because she was busy in the bathroom talking to Myrtle Warren, Myrtle was a spirit who lived in the ladies bathroom. Hermione first befriended her and after a month Gwen did the same and now Myrtle and Gwen converse almost every alternate days "what was his name again A___?" Myrtle questioned in her sharp voice.

"For the past two days I've been saying his name over and over again you don't get it do you, it's Aragorn" Gwen rolled her eyes.

"So, the Ball ah! I remember.....what about you ask him out instead?" Myrtle looked down on Gwen.

"What me? are you out of your mind?" Gwen folded her arms as she looked at Myrtle.

"If I was you I would" Myrtle smirked "but look I'm a spirit now" Myrtle was right Gwen thought better ask him out before it's too late, rather than waiting for him to because a lot of ladies are after him.

"I'm going to ask him out myself" Gwen stood up confidently as she tied her hair up in a ponytail.

"Are you serious?" Jill and Lilly looked up at her in shock, they have never seen Gwen this way.

"Yes, I am" Gwen smirked as she went searching for Aragorn. This was the first time in her life she was going to take such a step, she never thought she would do this for a guy. Guys always come after her she never have to search for one but with Aragorn it was different she was the one after him, she decided to go straight to the guest quarters a place where the students were prohibited to go but she didn't care, she always breaks the rules as she searched for Aragorn and she found him conversing with Cedric.

"Didn't see you there" Cedric smiled as Gwen walked towards them.

"What are you guys up to?" Gwen questioned.

"I'm explaining to Aragorn about the Yule Ball" Cedric looked at Gwen.

"So, are you planning to join us?" Gwen asked.

"Ive never been to a ball nor it interest me but professor Dumbledore asked for our presence and I couldn't decline" Aragorn smiled.

"You got a date?" Gwen asked nervously.

"I didn't know I needed a date at this ball" Aragorn chuckled.

"We don't have to, its up to us" Cedric said.

"Yes, but having a date means no harm, after all it's a dance" Gwen smirked.

"Yes, you are right so do you have a date my lady?" Aragorn asked.

Gwen heart sank at last Aragorn was going to ask her for a date she thought "not yet, I'm just waiting for the right person to ask me out" she blushed.

"I'm sorry to hear that Cedric can accompany you, I'd have asked you out myself but a lady has already asked me to assist her and I gave my word" Aragorn gave a warm smile.

Gwen couldn't belief what she just heard she was pissed but she tried to calm down as she didn't want Aragorn to find out she came to ask him out, then she calmly said "Cedric should go with Jill, my friend still didn't find a date yet" as she walked away.
