The Owl

"Dobby you scared me" Gwen complained as Dobby appeared on her bed out of nowhere, Dobby can teleport from one place to another and he can even teleport people with him he had a unique gift.

"I'm sorry Mistress" Dobby gave her an apologetic look as he realised Gwen was in a deep slumber before he woke her up.

"Ginny, what's the day today?" Gwen yawned as she saw Ginny making her bed.

"It's Saturday" Ginny smiled as she looked at Gwen, who was yawning.

"Freedom" Gwen grinned as she rushed into the bathroom to freshen up, she got changed as quickly as possible and headed towards the hallway where Lilly and Jill were already waiting for her. Dobby followed her like a lost puppy as he always does when he's around "heard you were touring with Aragorn yesterday?" Jill asked with excitement.

"Yes, I was and he's quite a gentlemen" Gwen smirked as she inhaled the fresh morning breeze.

"Then what about the elf?" Lilly asked.

"I met him in the end, we just said hi! That's it" Gwen pressed her lips.

"Then can we have him?" Lilly and Jill questioned as they both looked at Gwen.

"Duh!" Gwen responded as Lilly and Jill smiled widely with excitement, she didn't know why they were so interested in him.

As they were strolling through the market Lilly and Jill went shopping for clothes after asking Gwen's permission as for Dobby and Gwen they entered the shop of owls known as 'Eeylops Owl Emporium'. "I want an owl" Gwen looked at Dobby who just nodded, he follows wherever his mistress goes without a question.

Gwen was observing the owls carefully when she heard someone clearing his throat behind her, it was none other than Legolas "are you planning to own one?" He asked politely.

"Yes, I am" Gwen said as her eyes searched the room, she payed no attention to the elf next to her.

"Let me help you" he offered.

"Are you serious?" Gwen asked sarcastically.

"Yes, my lady I'm very good with birds" he spoke softly as he looked at her but she totally ignored him and went looking for Dobby as he was not next to her anymore, where the hell is this elf she thought as she walked outside and saw Dobby talking to Malfoy.

"Don't leave without my permission, I was worried looking for you" Gwen looked at Dobby.

"I'm sorry Mistress but Master Malfoy called me" Dobby apologized.

"Never mind" Gwen folded her arms.

"I just needed a word with Dobby" Malfoy smirked as he walked towards Gwen "would you like to join me for lunch?" Malfoy asked.

"I'm with my friends" Gwen replied as Lilly and Jill were heading towards them with some paper bags.

"Catch you later then" Malfoy winked as he left.

"Are you done shopping?" Jill asked.

Gwen had forgotten about it "Opps!" she sighed but as she turned, she saw Legolas coming out from the shop with a cage and inside the cage was an owl. A dark grey owl and his eyes were a beauty, Gwen had never seen an owl with such eyes they hold the galaxies in it "wow! it's a beauty" she gasped as Legolas handed her the owl, she was so taken aback she didn't even thank him. Jill and Lilly squeaked in excitement as Legolas was standing next to them at the market, Jill have grown up in middle-earth hearing about Legolas and even without seeing him she fell for his bravery and charisma but she didn't know it was Legolas when she first saw him but now she was sure it was him the most famous elf in middle-earth, on the other hand Lilly was head over heels from the very moment she laid her eyes on Legolas as he was more than perfect. The ladies were quite in shock as Gwen was not interested in Legolas even a bit but it was better for them as they had more chances.

"My prince" Dobby face lit up as he saw Legolas, he came forward and bowed his head with respect.

"Yes, he's your prince he's an elf too" Gwen joked, little did she knew that Legolas was the prince of Mirkwood but Legolas kept it a secret from everyone only his friends knew who he really was, Dobby carried the cage as they headed towards Hogwarts. Lilly and Jill walked behind Legolas and Gwen, Gwen didn't speak a word she was so focused working on some spells on her mind.

"So, you really are the elf from Rivendell aren't you, the elf everyone in middle-earth talks about?" Jill asked as she and Lilly followed Legolas and Gwen.

"Yes, I am" Legolas smiled a little as he turned towards his side.

"I've heard a lot about you, they say you're the best archer among the elves and the most handsome of them all and I can assuringly say all is true you are a masterpiece" Jill smirked as she quickly made her way to Legolas right.

"Did you find anything of your interest in Hogwarts?" Lilly asked curiously as she made her way to Legolas front and walked backwards.

"Yes, I did" a light smile pass the face of Legolas as he gazed at Gwen but Gwen wasn't looking at him, she was really focused on her spells or she would have notice what Legolas interest really was but Lilly and Jill seemed to have noticed his interest in her and their heart sank but they knew from the start this was meant to happen.

"I heard the elf helped you in buying an owl" Ron looked at Gwen.

"Yes, he did" Gwen sipped her glass of water.

"I heard that elves from middle-earth have much knowledge about nature and animals" Harry said.

"I heard they have healing powers too" Hermione interrupted as she looked at Gwen.

"Even Dobby have some capabilities, don't he?" Gwen said uninterested "no sign of our guests tonight" her eyes searched the hall as Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf along with professor dumbledore was not seen.

"Heard they are with the council tonight" Neville whispered.

"The Yule Ball is coming up soon" Ginny squeaked as they got on their beds.

"I think I know, with whom I'm going with" Gwen smirked to herself.

"Who?" Ginny asked as she lifted her head from the pillow and looked at Gwen.

"Aragorn" Gwen sunk into her pillow.

"Great choice" Ginny smiled.

Professor McGonagall was in charge of the students for the Yule Ball "I hate dancing lesson" Gwen grumbled as she sat between Fred Weasley and George Weasley, George and Fred were the Hogwarts twins.

"So, who are you going with?" Fred asked.

"Not with you of course and not you either" Gwen looked at Fred and then George.

"You are hard to get aren't you?" George chuckled.

As the lesson got over Gwen headed to the garden with lilly and Jill "we need a plan, to let Aragorn ask me out to the ball" Gwen said.

"Let us think about it" Jill said as she and Lilly got busy discussing about the matter.

The golden trio came and sat with them "planning for the Ball?" Harry asked.

"Yup" Gwen said under her breath as she examined her wand.

"Who are you going with?" Ron asked slyly.

"Absolutely not with you Ron" Gwen looked at him.

Hermione and Harry tried to hold their laughter "Hermione, did anyone ask you out yet?" Gwen questioned as she looked at her.

"Two of them did but not the one I want to go with" Hermione blushed.

"I guess the two were not Harry and Ron" Gwen joked as Jill and Lilly burst out laughing.

"Of course not" Harry responded embarrassingly.

"So, Harry who are you going with?" Gwen asked.

"I didn't ask anyone out yet" Harry smiled.

"You better do before all the ladies are booked and you too Ron, if you guys don't want to be each other's date on the ball" Gwen smirked.
