Imperfection (Vhope fan fiction 18+)

at the house

Once we both got to Dohyun's house, his dad wasn't here this time so it was just Dohyun and I alone at his house. 

When we took off our shoes we went into the living room and Dohyun turned on the TV so we had something to watch. I sat down on the couch and Dohyun sat down a seat down from me. I glanced over at him before asking "so why'd you invite me to your house?" 

"I don't know" Dohyun says, still looking at the TV and what was playing. 

An awkward silence fell between us both and Dohyun starts to say something which he sounded uncertain talking about. "So...do you know a person named Jungkook?" He asks, not looking at me and still looking at the TV screen. 

I looked at him surprised and confused, he knows Jungkook?! How does Yoongi not know who Jungkook is, but Dohyun does? Is Jungkook friends with Dohyun? I slowly nod meaning yes and Dohyun lightly smirked. 

"How do you know who he is?" I ask, looking at him questioningly. 

"We've been friends for a long time. He wanted t know where you were so I told him." Dohyun explains in a tone like it was no big deal. 

"So you're the one who told him where I am..." I say quietly to myself. I have to admit I am kind of grateful to Dohyun yet not at the same time. I'm grateful because if Dohyun had never told Jungkook where I was, I might have never known I had some long lost brother. I'm not so grateful though because Jungkook wants to kill me. 

"How did you and Jungkook meet?" I ask curiously, wanting to know. 

"I don't know, we've known each other for as long as I can remember. He suddenly asked me one day if I knew you and I said I did." He explains. 

Dohyun's known Jungkook for a long time but he didn't know Jungkook and I were brothers? This is getting weirder and weirder. "When did you first know Jungkook...how old were you?" 

"We were pretty young...I'm guessing around eleven or twelve." Dohyun explains, looking up at the ceiling I'm guessing trying to recall how old he was when he met Jungkook.

"Did...he mention anything about his family?" I hesitantly ask, looking at Dohyun trying to prepare myself for what he was going to say.

"No, what I known is that he ran away from home when he was young so he was homeless from a young age and would eat out of dumpsters and sleep in parks for a good amount of time  before I found him and offered him to stay with me. Keep in mind this was when I lived Daegu. I'm surprised he's in Seoul right now." Dohyun explains, rubbing the back of his neck.

He left a big pause in between before asking "so what's your relationship with him. Why did he want to know where you were  and if I knew you?" Dohyun explains, looking at me confused. 

Honestly I don't know everything to my side of the story but I want to. "I'll tell you if you can contact him and get him to meet us up so we can talk." I explain, looking at Dohyun seriously but a little scared. 

Dohyun turned his head to me and was staring at me blankly for a second or so before pulling out his phone and texting someone on it. "Okay I just texted him, we have to wait for a reply now" Dohyun explains. 

Before putting his phone back into his pocket his phone dinged meaning he had got a text. He unlocked his phone again to see the message and was reading what someone had said. After reading what the message had said, he put his phone back into his pocket and says "Jungkook says he can meet us here around the time school ends, you cool with staying a couple more hours?" Dohyun asks, and I nodded meaning yes. 

"So are you going to tell me what relationship you have with Jungkook?" 

"Well yesterday...I was at school since dark because I accidentally fell asleep but he approached me with a mask on. I honestly had no clue who he was until he brought me home, started a fight with my mom and then told me I was his brother." I explain, telling Dohyun the honest truth. 

Once I said Jungkook had told me I was his brother Dohyun turned off the TV and looked at me seriously and a bit angry "you're his brother?!" 

"I guess so...I don't even remember him though and I don't know why he's never been with my family all these years. I told you to tell him to come here because I want to talk to him and ask him questions about all of this. He wants to kill me because I did something to him, but I have no clue on why he's so mad at me for." I explain, looking at Dohyun seriously. 

Dohyun sighed deeply and rubbed the back of his head I guess trying to process things for himself. 

"Dohyun...I'm curious though...do you know anything about your parents?" I ask, looking at him questioningly.

"Of course I know my parents" Dohyun explains in a long sigh. 

"You do, you know your birth parents?!" I ask in a surprised tone. 

"Yeah, I lived with my parents for a long time. That's when I lived in Daegu" Dohyun explains in a smirk. 

"If you don't mind me asking...what happened?" I ask, looking at Dohyun, eager to know. 

"Why do you even want to know, it's pretty boring" Dohyun explains, trying to hide the sad aura with a chuckle.

"I don't know...I'm curious...if you don't mind telling me" I say, looking down into my lap and fidgeting with my fingers. 

"If you really want to know I'll tell you." He explains, sighing and looking down into his lap. 

I nodded meaning yes and I looked at him, ready to hear what he had to say.

Next chapter you guys are going to know Dohyun's past and Jungkook is going to meet Jhope and answer some of his questions. Jhope's past is going to be coming in now and you're going to slowly see everything that's ever happened to him. I guess in a way Dohyun's past is a bit sad.
