Missing you is like the ocean
The memories come like waves
Sometimes it's smooth sailing
But tonight I'm drowning
Because we are breaking
And I don't know when it started
But suddenly we are here
Like we were bobbing in the ocean
And suddenly we are miles from shore
I will fight against the current
But something inside me says
You don't want to go back to shore
You want to see where the current takes you
I want to compromise
And ride the waves
But shore is where I belong
And I'm going with
Or without you
So now I'm left
Waves crashing over my head
I'm shouting against the wind
And the waves
And the rain
But you chose not to hear me
I'm drowning in the ocean of tears
And you are watching
