We can go from knowing eachother
Inside out and backwards
To being strangers.
I now know the person
On the opposite side of the street
Better than you.

Just yesterday you wanted me,
Everything
And I was ready
But not ready to tell you.
And you decided,
Move on,
Run away,
Because you didn't want to wait.
Time was what I needed
And what you wanted nothing of.
How funny
How much your mind is wired
So differently from mine.
You go for the girl who will give you
Everything you want
When you want it.
And I
Would stay faithful,
You always crossing my mind.
Living in it.
And you forget I even exist.
You get what you want.
And I learn you weren't worth it.
