This is the last chapter of Gotta Love Those Animal Instincts!! I don't know if there will be a sequel. It all depends on the response to the story and what else I'm writing. Thanks for reading and I hoped you all enjoyed it! :)

I have found that life is usually unpredictable. I have been taken by surprise by all that has happened in the past few months. I could've only dreamed of escaping my abusive dad. I wouldn't have imagined that my Uncle Sam was as great as he was. Then there was Jacob. In my wildest dreams, I'd have a guy as wonderful as Jacob to come into my life. A guy that I loved with everything in me. A guy that appreciated me and trusted me. A guy that would kiss me just to do it and hold me to make me feel safe. Not to mention.. he's a werewolf. Talk about being thrown a curveball. But he was what I wanted. What I needed. I know it'll last forever because I was his imprint. I only hope he doesn't ever get tired of me.

"Hayley, wake up babe," I hear above me. A warm arm snakes around my waist and pulls me close. I turn over so that I'm looking at Jake. He is smiling at me which only causes me to smile in return. "Good morning," I say stretching a little then placing a hand on the side of his face. He takes my hand in his and gently kisses it before leaning in to give me a kiss. "So what's on the agenda for today?" he asked making his way out of bed to the closet. "I don't know. Staying in bed seems like a good plan to me," I reply, sitting up and running a hand through my hair. He turns back to look at me. "As tempting as that sounds," he began slipping a shirt over his head before diving onto the bed. I involuntarily let out a scream which made him laugh. "The guys and I have a surprise for you," he said pulling me onto his lap. "Oh, a surprise for me! What is it?" I ask excitedly as if a little kid. "You'll have to wait and see. Now come on," he stated standing and throwing me over his shoulder. "Jake, what are you doing?" I yell, hitting his back. Before I get an answer, I'm set on the bathroom floor with a towel thrown in my face. "Get ready for the day," Jacob replied with a smile shutting the door behind him. "Real mature," I laughed turning on the shower.

" Jake, Embry, Quil, Jared, and Paul this isn't funny," I say crossing my arms over my chest. I was in the back seat of Jacob's Rabbit with all the guys crammed in around me. How they all fit, I have no idea. Oh and did I mention I was blindfolded? Well, I was. "Do I really need this over my eyes?" I protested, reaching up at the fabric. "Whoa, it wouldn't be a surprise if you didn't have something to cover your eyes," Quil exclaimed moving my hand away before I could release what was blocking my sight. I groaned and let my hands fall to my lap for the remaining time.

After five more minutes, the car came to a stop and the guys filed out, leaving an unusual coldness around me causing me to shiver. "Take my hand," Jacob said placing his hand on my knee. I gingerly grab it and let him lead me out of the car. He guided me to a certain spot with his hands on my shoulders. I could hear the individual members of the pack, even Sam and Emily. "Ready?" Jared asked. I nod my head with a smile. Suddenly the cover was off my eyes, the light making me squint. Once my eyes adjusted, I stared at what was in front of me.

The most beautiful two story house stood in place of the old house that I had shared with Emily and Sam. A garden was around the roundabout porch with a little path leading to the front door. My eyes must have been huge because everyone laughed. "I had the guys working with me to get it done. This is our new house. I hope you like it," Sam exclaimed standing beside me looking at the house. "It's amazing!" I began, "Can I go in?" "Of course," was Sam's response but as soon as he spoke, I was sprinting to the house. I opened the door to reveal a kitchen and a joining living room so much like the old one. I went up the stairs, opening every door until I came to my room. The walls were a pale blue with one having a mural of a wolf on it. Ironically, it looked exactly like Jacob's wolf. It actually made me feel warm and safe. The bed had matching sheets and a desk sat in the corner while a tv occupied the other side of the room. The thought of this room being mine brought tears to my eyes.

"You like it?" I heard from behind me. I turned to see Jacob leaning against the door frame. "I love it," I say throwing my arms around his waist. He gently hugged me back. "I thought you would. I told Emily we should paint the mural," he said smiling down at me. "That's my favorite part," I reply, stealing a quick kiss before turning back to look around the room some more. " There's one more thing," Jacob stated taking my hand and leading to the bed. I sat anxiously while he took a breath and reached into his pocket. Out he pulled a jaw-dropping jeweled necklace with green stones and a "J" on the end. "Oh, Jacob," I manage to say. He motioned for me to turn around and I did without a word. "I got this for you so you'll always have a piece of me with you," he said clipping the clasp and letting it fall. I ran my hand over the "J" and looked down at it in my hand. "It's absolutely gorgeous Jacob. It's the prettiest necklace I've ever seen. I'll treasure it forever," I say breathlessly turnign to stare into his eyes. He wore a big smile on his face that reached all the way to his eyes.

My heart honestly felt like it was swelling from the love I felt toward Jacob. He was my everything. My other half. "I have to tell you, I lied earlier," I say nonchalantly. When the confused look came across Jacob's face, I couldn't help but giggle. "This is my favorite," I say touching his hand while holding the necklace. He laughed in return before pulling me into a mind-blowing kiss. At this moment, I knew everything I needed to.This place, with the love of my friends and family, the love of Jacob, is where I want to be and where I want to stay.

Forever.
