Damn you, skirt.

I let out a huff as I reach down and attempt to yank the skirt down. As if ignoring my useless attempts, it remains where it is - two inches above my knees and itching as if it were an army of ticks. I thought school girls were supposed to wear these uniforms, not strippers. Clearly the school board here was run by crazy perverted men. But that wasn't my worry...

After tearing it off the first time wearing it, I was relieved that I would never have to wear it again. I had happily tossed it in the trash and forgotten about it. Now, that I needed it, I began to regret attempting to fix it again. I just hoped this would go over smoothly. I look down at my phone and read my latest text:

We r at the coffee shop now! U coming? Class starts in an hour!

I think it was from that brunette girl. I think her name was Kylie? Or maybe that was the redhead. Because I know for sure the blonde is named Jillian. I'm not the best with names.

So if it wasn't already quite obvious, my "backup" happened to be the schoolgirls I was with the other day at the coffee shop when I jumped Kurt. My primary mission was to watch out for Robin Wayne, so Kurt should obviously know where she is. I received intel that he was supposed to be watching the three schoolgirls (not including me) because they were doing heroin or something. All I had to do was be a new student, befriend them, then get Kurt. That was the plan a few days ago. Obviously it had changed. I had to help Thomas, not Robin. She could help herself, now couldn't she?

I'd already gone through Kurt's phone and figured out that Robin was hanging out at some new recovery rehabilitation program. That was all I needed to know. I knew that I was being ordered to go and help her, blah blah blah, but I had better things to do.

Even though my relaxing day was over.

So much for relaxing, though.

I'll be there! Make sure to bring the goods ;)

I text Kyle the brunette girl, before tugging at the skirt one last time and heading out the door.

As I make my way to the coffee shop, I review my plan, which is quite simple. Get the girls to reveal the heroin, which they haven't... Yet. Then, I pull out my fake cop badge, arrest them, get it on the news, which should attract Kurt. After all, this was his latest assignment, was it not? Then I would be able to lure him in and ask him where Thomas was. Even though I'm sure Kurt told him all he needed to know about me. But I still had to tell him what I needed to say.

The bell on the door jingles loudly as I enter the busy coffee shop. Several people are grabbing coffees and quick eats before heading off on their days, to their places of duty, to fulfill their normal lives.

"Amanda! Over here!" a familiar voice calls.

Oh right. My name is Amanda.

I smile and head over to my three amigas, the brunette, blonde and redhead. They're all wearing their uniforms and sipping their coffees, reviewing some notes before our first period math class.

"Hey guys," I say, and slide next to the other blonde (Jillian?). "Ready for the test today?"

"Ugh, no, I didn't study last night!" the brunette (Kylie?) groans, banging her head against the table. "I was trying to finish that dumb chem assignment? Did you get it done?"

"I have it in here," I say, reaching into my bag. "I was a bit confused on the last few questions though."

"Robert told me some of the answers were on the reference website," the redhead (forgot her name completely) says. "Let's compare answers."
