Stage 1:
You start watching television and all of a sudden, Target's commercial for school supplies start playing. You start smirking at all the new supplies you're going to buy, and how all of your friends are going to be so jealous.Stage 2:
You start watching more and more YouTube videos, and your subscription box is filled with back to school DIY videos and you start mentally preparing yourself for making it.Stage 3:
You ask your mom to go to target with you to buy the supplies you'll need for all you DIYs. Your mom starts rolling her eyes because you tried DIY -ing your own supplies already last year and it didn't work out well.Stage 4:
You keep begging her over and over again reminding her constantly how supplies are so expensive and how cool you'll be when you go to school in your in style customized school supplies. And you keep reminding her that school is coming up in only a couple more weeks and you should get started shopping before its too late.Stage 5:
She finally gives in and starts rummaging around for her purse.Stage 6:
You go to target and get all your supplies for the DIYs and start being all excited for this.Stage 7:
You rewatch the YouTube videos and get started with the DIYs. You start looking at the thing you made and the stuff the YouTuber made and realize how different the two look.Stage 8:
You start mentally crying...heck you start for real out loud crying.Stage 9:
After you beg your mom 15 more times, she finally gives in and takes you back to target, reminding and letting you know that since she spent all the money on your DIYs, embracing your creativity, that you will be getting all the boring and cheap supplies for school.Stage 10:
You sigh and bare through the pain and you go to school just like you did last year, boring and cheap.😒|Love all you LilyPoppers💥|
