So I went to orientation today for the high school. We walked our schedules, my peer leader was so polite. Her name was Grace. But apparently they're issuing some new things for the high school this year. One was Cell Phone Caddies. Basically, right when you walk into the classroom, you place your phone inside. It's to prevent students from using it in class. We can use it the hallways (4 minutes) and lunch (about 20-40 minutes). So I guess it's fair. It's not like I use it in class a lot anyway. That's a bold faced lie.😂. But anyway, another thing is Saturday detention. Instead of having ISS (in school suspension), we'll be having to come into school from 8 am-11 am on a Saturday. And the last thing is BEAR day, we have this thing with our district (our mascot is a bear), so on BEAR day, we drop everything and read for a period. They took it from the elementary school, so we're doing it again in high school. Oh gosh, high school is going to be a roller coaster ride with 4 large bumps (every year counts for a bump), other people may have 5😂😂.
