OMG! All you girls should feel blessed right now. Whoever you are, wherever you are, you should feel blessed as hell right now. I understand on the east coast it's late right now and I'm updating this a little delayed but, it was this day was too important for me to leave alone.
Anyway. We are such a wonderful species. Yes women are their own species. We honestly are the best. We have gone through a lot of shit in order to get the respect we deserve...and we STILL haven't gotten it.
We have gone through racism, discrimination with women's suffrage, and so much more. Successful and wonderful women such as Rosa Parks and Susan B Anthony have changed women's fate forever. They have undergone so many struggles in order to make sure that us women are being treated like the ladies that they are.
Women should not be discriminated against because of race, sexuality, height, weight, intelligence. They have so much going for them that they do not need that stress in their lives. Our race, sexuality, height, weight, and intelligence are what makes us beautiful in every single way.
We do not need boys to complete us. We do not need materialistic things to complete us. We do not need makeup to complete us. Although makeup is an art and our faces are the palate, we are beautiful regardless.
Making history is what we are good at. With the 19th amendment of being able to vote, that was probably the best milestone of our lives.
Not to mention how smart we are. Can you honestly believe the amount of shit we get that basically discourages us. "We can't do it." Or "you're pretty smart...for a girl." Well that's all about to change for good.
And don't forget about the derogatory terms such as, "bitch" and "slut" and "hoe" and honestly being treated as animals.
And don't forget about the pain we go through every month orrrrr for 9 months.
Happy women's appreciation day girls! We need all the love we can get.
