The sun is slowly setting as you lay on the beach. Your boyfriend was supposed to be here an hour ago for your romantic Valentine's Day picnic that he promised to attend since he has been preoccupied with school and work. You basically think that he's not even worth anymore if he isn't committed to the relationship as much as you are. You walk back to your house quickly before the sun has a chance to go down. Walking through the traffic of New York with the sun setting as people are trying to get home to work isn't exactly the most romantic setting. You're finally home after a long trek from the beach. All you want to do is sit down and relax and eat ice cream as you binge watch Netflix. You open the door slowly as Valentine's Day balloons, hearts, and candy and your boyfriend waiting with open arms expecting a hug. He gives you a long speech about how he's sorry that school has been preoccupying him and so has work and he hopes that this Valentine's Day makes up for it. You tear up running into his arms ending the night with a passionate kiss, cuddling watching Netflix and eating ice cream and the chocolate he gave to you. Can't let it go to waste now can we?
