Chapter 23: I'd Always Come for You

Cole's POV

I thought. I was dead. Suddenly I saw who I thought was God standing over me.

“Yes. Your assumption is correct. I am God. I love you and I forgive all your sins. You will not burn in Hell. In fact, you can come with me to Heaven right now."

I stood up. This was a lot to absorb. I wasn't damned. “So I'm an Angel now?"

“Yes," God smiled. It was the most loving, pure, forgiving and comforting smile ever.

“Thank you." I said humbly.

“Youre welcome." God said, “although it was your love for Bella that saved your soul."

Bella. Her Mother. Satan. Oh shit. “Where is she?"

“Lucifer has her. He's currently taking her somewhere to kill her." God said.

“I have to save her." I said determinedly.

“Agreed. But wait." God touched my shoulder and suddenly I felt feelings of strength wash over me.

“Whats this?"

“This protects you. Nothing Satan or any of his followers do will ever harm you. Now go. I'll be watching over you Cole."

“Thank you." I nodded. Then I flew out to find my Angel.
