*max's pov, right before the accident*
I started to laugh as Maddy danced to the music. I pulled into the freeway. Almost ten minutes from the airport. Maddy screamed at me, and I looked up. There was a car, full speed heading toward us. I tried to turn, I tried to save us. But it was too late. Before I knew it, Maddy unbuckled herself and jumped in front of me, taking the blow for me.
"No..." I whispered.
The two cars collided. The force shattered the glass piercing Maddy's back. I tried to grab her, but she flew out the window, like a child throwing a rag doll. My face almost slammed into the steering wheel, the the air bags finally popped out. I saw the other car, slowly rising, but then slowly fall back down. I started to smell gas.
'oh no' I thought.
I scrambled for my phone and ran outside, blood dripping from my face. As soon as I got out, fire started to engulf the two cars. I wildly looked for Maddy. She landed almost three lanes over, and five feet in front of the actual accident. Luckily, no one was really driving on this highway at the time and even if there was someone, there's way too much debris for anyone to drive through. I sprinted to Maddy. She was lying face down, lifeless. I feel to my knees.
"No... No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no." I said.
Tears started to fall down my face, landing red on the pavement.
"Somebody help!" I screamed.
I wiped out my phone and called 911.
"I got into a really bad accident on I76." I said into my phone. (I just made up a random highway) "I think I'm ok, but my friend is almost lifeless. Please hurry."
"An ambulance and police are on their way," the operator said.
I rolled Maddy over to her side. There was too much glass in her back. I lifted the hair out of her face. She started to breath, but barely.
Then the explosion from the cars happened. I shielded Maddy from any other debris that might have been grown from the exposition.
"Maddy please," I cried. "I lost Adam, I can't loose you to."
I ripped off a part of my sleeve and wiped off the blood around her face. Then I kissed her. I couldn't hold back any longer, and it was like explosions in my mouth. I started to pull away when I heard the wails of a fire truck. I looked down the road. A fire truck, along with an ambulance and what looked like 5 police cars. Then I collapsed next to Maddy.

To find the lost sky
FanfictionFinal part to incredibly cringy story series. Looking back at the book, it was really dark, and messed up. There's a lot of "uncomfortable and triggering" thing in here, so I advise those types of people not to read it. I was in a really dark place...
